After watching the various advertisements at Finisinc and on Goswim's Youtube channel I decided to go for the shooter over the trainer 1 and trainer 2 since i got the impression that this model can be more easily incorporated into other strokes. I have swam with the monofin 4 times now, and have used it exclusively for underwater dolphin, butterfly stroke, breaststroke and freestyle with dolphin kicks and dolphin on my back for backstroke. Generally, I swim a drill, put the monofin on and swim the drill again, then take it off and swim it one last time. The shooter monofin provides more speed, and forces you to control the stroke, whilst also working your core really hard. The only drawback I would say is that you really have to be in a quiet lane to swim with the fin on, since it is sharp and because you'll be going much faster than everyone else. Got a replacement but it seems to have been made roughly.
