These so the job well and are well made, a lovely fine mesh which is also sturdy, One can grow a small amount in them, so don't expect a huge bowl of sprouts. Perfect for tiny seeds like sprouting broccoli. Easy to clean, just take apart, wash in sudsy water to remove any plant materials and rinse - good to go again. Value for money in the sense that as a counter top item, they are plesant to see.

I love the simplicity of this jar. Very easy to use and clean. Excellent results. A little small perhaps if you have more than a couple of people in the house.

I followed the instructions on the video, but removing the rounded lid with the pouring spout in place is just plain difficult with hands that have been preparing food. It is rounded and therefore hard to grip. Why no handle? When you remove the rounded lid and spout together in order to screw the second storage lid in place, dressing dribbles everywhere; and then where do you store those parts whilst your dressing sits in the fridge? The demo video conveniently skips those issues. Surely the rounded lid could be made screw in with the mixing coil attached, the spout could be fixed permanently to the bottle and the second screw-on storage lid dispensed with. It could be stored in the fridge with the spout and rounded lid in place, making it a practical utensil. To add insult to injury the measurement indicator on the bottle is nearly illegible and is in different measurements from the recipes provided. I suggest these have been designed for the gift shop displays and not for use in a kitchen and most will end up at the back of the kitchen cupboard. Mine has been returned for a refund.

I wonder if I am doing it wrong......this jar is really not easy to use with chives I love the jar (first one arrived smashed, but second one was okay), I bought it specifically for storing chives, but the design of the pole means the chives just fall through.... The video on the listing shows the jar being used with chives.........however, when I tried to place my chives, they just all fell through the holes, ending up in a buckled, curled up heap in the water below........ I'm keeping it to use it for other larger herbs, but I'm disappointed it didn't work as easy as shown for chives - which is the herb I use mostly I like the design, and quality, a good thick glass, which goes in the dishwasher for super easy cleaning Cost was good value I just wish it would function well with chives ..........I will keep trying though!

I was looking for an easier and more eco-friendly sprouter. Found it!!! Glass + steel + ceramic. When the jar is too big, seeds tend to get spoiled after a few days - this one looks like it will be so easy to grow sprouts. Thanks. And it looks so cool.
