AWESOME luggage for trains and smooth easy roll for lots of walking! Very durable!
I wanted to use these before I wrote a review. I travelled Germany for 7 weeks, 3,500+ miles, 50 trains… and I was NOT gentle with this luggage. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with my choice. I purchased several brands before deciding on Luggex—and this was hands down the BEST decision. I had this suitcase maxed out weight-wise. Traveling alone much of the time meant I was constantly lifting, pulling, and yes… even throwing it on and off trains because I had more than one bag. Some days I didn’t even have the energy to carry it up and down stairs, so it literally bumped down step by step with me. I was worried the stairs would ruin my suitcase, but it was perfectly fine!!! The suitcase is incredibly durable. And the wheels? AMAZING. They held up to EVERYTHING. They handled every surface I came across. Cobblestone? No problem. Although I will say… in Köln (Cologne), the cobblestones were EXTRA 😂 so I had to put my back into it and pull! It rolled smoothly across platforms, elevators, stairs, and everything in between. It also went on and off escalators easily, which was a huge deal when traveling alone. My carry on sat on top and strapped easily to the pull up handle. i am 6’ 2” and the handle was a perfect length for me. I brought a spare wheel but never needed it. The shocks did their job perfectly. After 7 weeks of serious use, the wheels still looked great, just normal scuffs and scratches (see pic). Security was another huge plus. No zippers to puncture, just a solid aluminum frame with two TSA-approved locks. I felt completely comfortable leaving it in the train luggage areas while I went to the bathroom or restaurant car. I also used a retractable locking cable for extra peace of mind. The medium size fit easily in the overhead racks on German trains. About the frame … I tried other hard-shell suitcases without aluminum frames, and they all felt floppy and “soft.” With my hip injury, I needed something I could sit on if necessary. The company didn’t officially recommend it, but I had to try it and it was SOLID . I used it as a seat multiple times throughout my trip. Even my 6’10”, 300 lb son sat on his with no issue. The frame is no joke!! Seriously strong and well-built. Bottom line: I am SO happy with this purchase. We now own four different sizes and I am buying a set for my husband. I’ve included a video of it rolling over different surfaces in Bad Honnef, regular cobblestones, the horribly bumpy ones in Cologne and down the stairs at the Cathedral. The wheel photo shows their condition AFTER the full 7-week trip. Even after sitting on them, a lot, the shock is in perfect condition.

Very Nice Suitcase
This suitcase is strurdy, non expandable, well balanced weighing in at just under 14 lbs. May seem heavy but it is well made. The locks are durable, handles and pull handle is firm and comfortable. The wheels are smooth and easy to maneuver. TSA locks are 007 if your interested although not included. garment separators are firm and adequate. I was pleased to use this suitcase for the first time and am delighted with it's performance.

Top notch travel buddy
I packed for an oversea trip and used the large case for check-in. It held up the typical airport abuse well. But more so, it was the most organized trip out of a suitcase I ever had. I changed locations 4 times. Amazing compartment availability. Everything - clothes, shoes, toiletries - stayed where it needed to stay. It exactly matched the airline weight requirements. It’s easy to roll and handles well in rougher terrain. It is absolutely stunning to look at. Love my purchase!

Great bag
So good. It glides so smoothly. And the latches are so much nicer than zippers. Only thing from stopping me from giving five stars is durability. I'll have to use it a few more times to see if it will last. Otherwise, this is a very nice unit.

Very durable, stylish and light. Love this suitcase!
My husband and I recently used this suitcase for our trip to Hawaii. I liked how this bag was very durable and it did not show any signs of wear and tear even after 5 different flights. I love how it closes & latches, it does not have a zipper it has clasp closures. My husband used this suitcase and he had plenty of room and this suitcase was very light even full it was only 40 pounds. I love the light silver blue it is easy to recoginze your luggage on the carousel. I'm looking to get one for myself.

Awesome for My Camera and Video Gear (Almost Perfect)
I have tried and own all kinds of brands, cases, bags, etc. for my video and camera gear. Including Pelican, ThinkTank, Tamrac, Tenba, Neewer, Lowepro, even converting a Samsonite for my purposes. Those are all great brands but I wanted something pretty specific and maybe Pelican finally listened to my suggestions but they are overpriced in my opinion. Regarding why this bag is almost perfect for my needs. First it has 4 sets of wheels to allow for easier transport from the studio to locations. Pelicans and ThinkTanks have two sets of wheels which adds to fatigue when transporting long distances to location. Next this bag is lightweight AND durable. The metal hinge was a requirement. And the locking clasps were also a requirement. As mentioned, I tried different brands and approaches. I find Pelicans overkill and end up being too heavy. Their AIR line is ok but overpriced. ThinkTanks are durable but also overpriced. My Samsonite conversion broke the hinge and zipper after a few months of use. It's been almost a year of daily use of this bag and all latches, hinges, and zippers are working well. And the thing that tops it off for my needs is the value. This is well priced. There is definitely a price hike for bags and cases designated as camera, photo, or video. So please keep these priced as a good value. Reasonably priced with good durability. I don't need to drive a truck over my cases. I don't even need to sit on or stand on my cases. But I do need them to last daily transport from studio to location. Plus, I need them to withstand being opened and closed dozens of times a day while on location. Feature design requests for my needs as a videographer/photographer but probably not for travelers. Can you make a photography/videographer line of cases? Can you make the medium suitcase just a little bit deeper? Maybe just 1-2 inches overall. Or rather than a 50/50 design where the lid is 50% and the bottom (side with the retractable handle) is 50%, can you make the lid 35% and the bottom 65% or thereabouts? This will help keep lenses, camera bodies, and larger items on the bottom side. Currently I put those on the lid side (left side) because the retractable handle takes some depth away. Not a huge deal but less convenient. Those are the heavier items and it makes the lid harder to lift. Plus shifting the ratio away from 50/50 makes storing longer lenses easier by having some medium length lenses also be stored vertically rather than horizontally. You don't want to go too long in one direction either or it ends up being wasted space. This is a big flaw with a lot of Pelican designs where they are too deep on one side and too shallow on the other side. Also, if you made the camera bag inserts and dividers that would be awesome! Currently I use inserts and dividers from other manufacturers and they are not a perfect fit. Thanks for making a great case! Also, honestly look into what it would take to compete in the camera/photo/video space. There are manufacturers with thriving businesses in that space but I think they are all lacking in some way. I should just make a video at some point.

I LOVEEE MY SUITCASE, Durable, Smooth, and Secure Travel Upgrade
I LOVEEE MY SUITCASE. I bought this for my boyfriend, and he’s been using it for travel, and it’s honestly been such a great purchase. The suitcase feels very strong and durable; the aluminum frame and hard shell design make it feel like it can handle a lot without getting damaged. The spinner wheels are super smooth, it rolls very easily and feels light even when it’s packed. One of my favorite features is the TSA locks. It’s something we didn’t have before, and it’s really nice knowing everything inside is secure, especially when traveling through airports. The inside is well organized and gets the job done; it keeps everything in place and makes packing simple. That said, it does feel like there’s slightly less space compared to a traditional zip-up suitcase, probably because of the frame design. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you tend to pack a lot. On the bright side, it definitely encourages packing lighter and more efficiently. Overall, this is a really solid, high-quality suitcase that looks great, feels secure, and travels smoothly.

Sturdy and attractive
I've typically carried a duffel bag, but I'm getting older and wheels are increasingly attractive. I didn't want a zipper, and although I was mostly traveling by train I wanted to meet the carry-on requirements for a short plane flight (turned out that I had to check the luggage anyway, as carry-on was full by the time my group boarded). Very happy with this luggage. It's sturdy and holds more than expected; I packed in enough clothing for 12 days (I'm relatively small, it was summer so materials were light, I didn't have to play dress-up at any point). It looks nice (several people commented). It rolls smoothly over sidewalks walking quickly, doesn't go wobbly. The handle adjusts quickly for pulling behind, walking beside, closing up for baggage rack. It does add more weight than a duffel bag; I had some trouble getting it over the rim to retrieve it from the train rack. It's a bit tedious to have two combination locks but also reassuring. I don't travel much, so durability over time is an unknown.
