Works well as ant deterrent
I use the cinnamon oil to help deter ants from around entry points of my house and yard. It smells great and does its intended purpose. The smell will last a few days from what I can tell but does wonders on keeping ants at bay.

Not strong cinnamon scent
First time purchasing cinnamon oil, but this product had just a hint of cinnamon scent, not unpleasant, but not what I expected. Priced well.

Smells Like Cinnamon Mixed with Cider or Spice - Should be Labeled Cinnamon Leaf
I don't know why, but there seems to be 2 different cinnamon smells in the essential oil world - the first is usually labeled "cinnamon leaf" and it has this kind of spice smell to it (which I personally don't like). The second, to me, smells like pure cinnamon - exactly like cinnamon chewing gum smells, or when your mom used to boil cinnamon sticks in water on the stove and the whole house would smell like cinnamon. I thought, when buying this product, because it is labeled "Cinnamon" and not "Cinnamon Leaf", that it would NOT have that heavy spice smell mixed in, but it most certainly does, so in the trash it goes. The label says pure cinnamon oil, so I'm guessing they distilled the leaf and not the sticks. Whatever the mfg did, it has that heavy spice scent - it's like cinnamon mixed with cider - thats what it smells like.

Not a typically fall scent
The cinnamon smell is kind of weird. Don't smell the bottle. Use it and let it sit for awhile and it smells better. It was not the fall scent I was hoping for but you do get a lot for the money.

Not a very potent oil - and not quite a cinnamon scent. Seems quite diluted. Will try another brand next time. Wish they would state what country they are sourcing for oils, so one could avoid those places that are known for this type of quality.
