I used it to heat an open-plan living room and kitchen at the maximum setting. However, looking at the internals the thermostat is poorly positioned (directly underneath the heating elements). It works perfectly for the first couple of days, but due to heat-related deterioration, it starts cutting off before reaching the desired temperature. Even if repaired, the problem will likely persist due to the flawed design.
