Windolene Emulsion Original Cream Cleaner, 500 ml

My mother in law always uses this, and years ago I used to scoff at her...it seems so old fashioned, using a cream on the Windows. So I spent years getting the spray ones,all different prices, with vinegar, botanical, organic, with a micro fibre cloth, with paper tissue, newspaper everything, and they all left streaks. Even if they looked good initially, the sun would shine through and they'd drive you mad with streaks..Even worse in thecar. in the end, after I'd spent £40 on a Karcher window vac, which ended up worse than the others, did I give up, and went back to this. It's a thick emulsion, which you put on quite sparingly, wait till it dries, then wipe off with a clean cloth... Nothing else gets glass as clean, and if you miss a bit, it's obvious, you just wipe it off. It's slightly harder work than the sprays, but miles better. Great stuff, I recommend.

My mum used to use this when I was a kid .... 50 years ago. Tried all of the new liquid sprays, but find them dissapointing. If you want really gleeming windows - there is nothing better than this old formula. Let it dry onto the glass and then polish off .... fantastic stuff !

I couldn't get hold of this anywhere until I looked on Amazon. Once obtained I smeared it all over my lounge windows to stop people seeing in during redecorating, just like we used to do in the 'old days'. It had quite a strong smell whilst it was drying which set off my allergies a bit, but the smell dissipated once dry. After decoration was completed I wiped it off and it left my windows lovely, clean and sparkling having proved fit for the purpose I wanted it for.

I've tried so many spray on window cleaners and they all streak. This product is brilliant, no streaks!! My Mum recommended this product to me and I haven't looked back. Easy to apply and remove, you can see clearly where you are applying the product. It does have a very strong smell, but to be honest a small price to pay for sparkly windows.

I totally agree with the other reviewers. In my opinion Windolene cream has got to be the most efficient window/glass cleaning product ever. I find it is also good for cleaning other items around the home, i.e., chrome and shower screens as a previous reviewer has mentioned. Having bought this user-friendly cream for years I find it is becoming increasingly difficult to track down. The newer, spray type cleaners are sadly not up to the job, leaving smears and streaks no matter how many times you go over the same area! I can't understand why Windolene cream is now so difficult to find in supermarkets and hardware shops, and I've searched them all in my area. Never mind, I have now found the Amazon website supplier, so please keep stocking this product.

Having used Windolene for years, disappointed that I've been unable to purchase in the shops. Good for Amazon ! Now have my supply to last me for months to come ! It's the best window cleaner I've ever used.

Best stuff for Windows old fashioned to people today, but you will not beat it .why I had to pay the price it is don't no, used to cost no more than 1.50 .no stuff gone up but what a big increase .

Be aware that the product I was sent was not the original Windolene but a replacement called Big D. Not sure whether it is as good.

Nach vielen Jahren und mühseligen Fenster putzen, kam ich auf dieses Produkt zurück, welches ich aus meiner Kindheit kannte. Meine Mutter hatte es damals benutzt und nun werde ich die Tradition weiterführen und strahlend saubere Fenster haben.

Have used this in the U.K when I lived there, but so far have not yet made use of it here in Canada..but it does the job !
