The review doesn't do it justice really. You zip, unzip and keep unzipping things. There's so much storage in this backpack, and it's really light weight, despite the rugged canvas. I'm petite. So I have to pull all the fasteners just about to their smallest limit. This is fine with me. I'm used to it.It's just a normal size pack really, but it has a zipper and pull thru hole on the back tip. I put my water pack in there. The drinking hose pulls thru the hole that is provided. This is really a neat little pack. The outer zipper mesh net pocket will hold just about any size bottle you would like or put your cell phone or a solar charger.There's also carabiner and hoops and loops and plastic things to hook things too, from the outside. So you get both inside and outside to carry things. The outside bits are perfect for a camera, flashlight, personal locator beacon.I haven't tested the "waterproof" bit out yet, but I did spill some water on it while messing around, and I can say...it did roll right off. I think this is an excellent deal. We'll see how it holds up once I pack with all my hiking gear and take off for a day. I plan to test it out within the week. I'll try to remember to come back and give a final thorough review. The straps at the shoulder blades are different than pictured. The bladder does not get its own zippered compartment. The "tools" area pictured, and described as inside the middle section, is absent with a mesh pocket in its place. The waist strap is removeable, but is configured differently than pictured. ...
