Double Barrel Toy Foam Blaster, 80 Soft Bullets and 12 Ejecting Shells, Toy Gun Foam Blaster for Kids Ages 8-12, Birthdays for Kids

My son loves nurf and we where looking for a new soft dart gun. He found this and was instantly like mine! So of course we got it. I was not expecting much from the product as it was fairly cheaply priced. But hey this is a nice wee dart gun. Build quality is sold it's been dropped and kicked as kids run about and still shoots. It looks good and had a nice weight to it. The gun comes with darts and shells that you load in to the barrels like a real shotgun. It holds two shots and can be fired individually with a slight depression in trigger than another slightly hard one for the second shot. Or depression the trigger fully to shoot two at the same time. It has a far bit of power to it. The two shots at a time makes this a fairly slow gun to use, but there is a wrist strap and slots on the stock to hold shells. The best part comes with cocking and reloading cocking is done by pressing the orange button that breaks the barrels then you pull them all the way down untill it clicks. However, (best bit) as you cock the gun the shells are ejected out of the barrels it looks so cool. My boy loves this gun (not me however) It's only down side is the poor looking sight you get with it that quickly got removed.

The gun came broken,it won't fire nor prime, the other stuff came in good enough condition tho, but I have no clue how to get the gun fixed or a replacement

My son loves this toy, break the barrel and the cartridges fly out. 1st one we bought stopped rejecting 1 of the cartridges and had to be return as faulty but a no hassle return from Amazon and a replacement ordered. Will still give 5 stars because its a great toy

First an important note. Don't let it come as a surprise that this is a device that fires things and anything that does that needs to be treated with some sort of caution and it may be that with some or maybe all children it should be used under basic supervision. I am not therefore marking this down on the basic that it is a "gun" and it fires things. Parents are responsible for deciding whether their off spring are capable of using this safely. This was ordered for grand children use and was ordered as my own, now adult, children had great fun with similar items (and so did I). The quality for the price seems good. It is easy to use and comes with a really good stock of projectiles. Be aware though that my experience is that they will still be found under the furniture when the gun itself has been long forgotten. The projectiles are soft foam but note that they would still be capable of causing injury so should be used with the supplied eye protection . One slightly strange feature is that the projectiles do not fit into the gun without being first fitted into a holder but a number of holders are suppled. Also supplied is a cardboard target but my kids found it more fun to shoot empty water bottles off a wall .There is one pair of safety glasses. These are the same as the basic glasses one gets with garden kit such as trimmers so it's easy to get more safety if it is felt necessary. Overall this looks to be a good value item which many kids will get a lot of fun with as well as training them on the basic safety principles that apply to everyone from catapults, bows and arrows and other similar devices.

I got this for my son. But honestly, I’ve had a lot of fun with it. The mechanics and look and feel makes it a real joy to play with. Firstly you get a lot of foam bullet. 80 in total and 12 shells. You also get an attachable aim, wrist bullet holder and safety glasses. The aim is nothing more than just for show. The gun feature realistic functions. These are real joy to see in action. The front barrel flips down, you load the shells in, close and shoot. When you pull the barrel down again, the empty shells pop out automatically. This was a very impressive. Definitely my favourite feature. The gun shoots single and double shells. For single shot, you pull the trigger half way. Pull it fully and it will shoot double. It seems like shooting double doesn’t shoot as far. A single shot reaches well beyond 15 yards. Pretty impressive distance. The build quality feels very strong, robust and sturdy. All the moving parts feel tight and firm. It is a bit heavy, not enough to tire your arms. I do like the weight of it. Makes you feel like you’re holding something powerful. The one feature I would have really liked, is a safety switch, mainly because I have a toddler and I worry my son might accidentally shoot her. So I have forbidden him from playing with it in the house to avoid an accident.

What an excellently fun toy. I’m super surprised by how really good this thing is. It feels actually quite solid and well made. It’s quite small, probably the size of what I assume a sawn off would be so you can one had it if you’re a bigger kid and if you’re and actual normal sized kid then it’s probably fine too. You get loads of darts, safety goggles and a target in the box. You get 10 cartridges to load your darts into and then you load the shells into the barrels like a real shotty. Once you’ve done your blasting then you break the barrel with the button, breaking the barrel also “cocks it” for the best shots, the empty shells come flying out and then you re-load. It’s so, so much fun I was giggling like a moron. I’m so happy with this thing. I’m going to keep it near my desk for shooting flies or just target when I’m stressed out. It says for ages 8 and up on the box and with proper supervision yeah, this is about right. I imagine this would work with NERF darts too but I don’t have any so can’t test. Time will tell if this holds together for a decent amount of time but initial play tests made me very happy and I am having lots of fun.
