Good quality microphones
I recommend these mini microphones. I used them once so far doing a ghost hunt. They didn’t cut out. You can hear really clearly. Easy to use, just plug into phone. Charge up the mics, ready to go. I recommend getting these!

Works exactly as you expect. Even with 2 mics the setup is a piece of cake. Plug into phone, turn on, record. Great quality.

This microphone might not work with your case protecting and covering your iPhone.
When I tried to use this microphone today I realized that my iPhone 13 Protective case blocks the connection because the lightning connector for this microphone is too short and the only way that I can possibly get it to plug in is to remove my iPhone 13 from the case so I decided to use the wired microphone that I already have instead of going through the hassle of removing my iPhone from the case. So I don't know if this microphone works or not and I'm not planning on returning it but as this is the first wireless microphone that I've purchased I won't buy another one unless I'm sure that it will plug into my iPhone with the case on just like any other lighting cord, lightning supported headphones, etc ... Seems like an easily avoidable design flaw to me but it is what it is. No worries.
