There are so very many options for racks, pouches, holsters, bags, et al., and yet none of them seem to be "ideal" -- at least from my POV. These holsters are certainly fine in term of quality and -- sure -- they do provide the basic functionality they advertise. But they are also a bit awkward and end-up adding a lot of bulk inside a case. I'd intended to use these for securing pistols inside a padded sleeve, but they are bulky enough that they make the sleeve difficult to close -- and the sleeve loses its nice, low-profile transportability, also. The retention strap system is really awkward, to my way of thinking. I'll give credit for the fact that those straps are removable, at least. As far as value goes, I'll say also that they seem to be identical to the **name brand** version at roughly half the price, so there's that.
