I can't dance, I'm a total klutz and I have injuries in my back and lower body. But the price was right and I went for it. I'm glad I did. It is the most fun Kinect game I have ever bought! There are 3 levels - Easy, Medium and Hard. I've started at the Easy level. As you progress the other levels are unlocked. The songs are also laid out with dance style difficulty displayed - the songs near the top of the list are easiest to learn and they get progressively harder as you go down the list. All the different levels make this game triple the size. If you are not an experienced dancer, you can easily play this for a year before you've reached all levels. The Kinect does a good job of following your moves. It missed a few of mine but that is to be expected; nothing is perfect. The fun factor is here but the exercise factor is off the charts. I played this for 1 hour and I had sweat pouring off me - literally! I have used workout DVDs that didn't make me sweat this much. If you have a bad heart you can still play this game but I would start on the easiest level and don't over do it. You may only be able to do a handful of songs on the game but for $16 that's not bad. (Talk to your doctor as well.) If you need to lose weight this is a great game. I also mentioned I have a bad back; I'm able to play but some moves do cause a little discomfort. After dinner, EVERYBODY was stuck on this game. I have never heard so many, "My Turn" and "I'm Next!" in my life. By the end of the night, both my sisters and my future brother in law were convinced in getting a Kinect and this game to go with it. This is just 100%, good fun and I strongly believe that if you stick with it you will end up a pretty good dancer at the end. I have two left feet but I honestly think this game is helping me get a little rhythm going and over time I actually think it will help me out considering how accurate it is in tracking your motion. If you are off at all, your limb on screen will be highlighted in red to show that you need to adjust yourself to match the action on screen. In comparison, I've been playing DDR all summer to help me lose weight(which it did help me lose 50lbs, thank you very much) but you will not be taking the steps you use on DDR to any club unless you want to be pointed and laughed at, lol. I would be very impressed if I seen some people use a lot of the moves found in this game. As for songs, I believe there is about 30. That might not sound like a lot compared to something like Guitar Hero of Rock Band but you have to realize that each song is very different when it comes to the dance moves and each song has 3 difficulties that really change up how you play. You're not going to be playing on Hard unless you absolutely know how to dance. I think it's going to be a while until I get to that point, but this game makes me want to get better. Even if you don't like every song, they are all fun to dance to. Graphically, it's very slick and using your arm for swiping menus just feels so right. The character models look great even though their fashion sense is pretty questionable(as in, down right terrible!). Everything looks great on my 50" Plasma. Bottom line, this is what I think separates the Kinect from things like the Wii or PS Move. It's a game but it is really teaching you how to dance and above all else, it's fun!
