It's an easy install and works right out of the box. Just plug and play. It moves a good bit of air and is actually quite quiet. I can't hear it in the basement with the garage door closed and it doesn't vibrate at all unlike my fan hood in the kitchen. Haven't used the temp switch as I plugged it into a remote switch before going into the outlet and will just turn it on when I'm sawing or painting to remove dust and fumes. Great addition to the clean air aspect of the work space. Longevity remains to be seen but will update. So far a ten for the price and convenience. Recommended.

Just got it and mounted it as a thermostatically controlled fan for my chicken coop shed. It’s gotten hot and the chickens don’t like the heat. It’s mounted up in the roof rafters and the louvre blow the air down towards the coops floor. Allows me to have a fan that kicks on only when it’s warm to keep the flock cooler. Hopefully it lasts a few years, seems well built and heavy duty. Well worth the $72

You can definitely hear it running, but that’s expected for a fan moving this much air. Overall, it’s a powerful, dependable exhaust fan that performs exactly as advertised. I’d recommend it to anyone needing better ventilation for a garage, workshop, greenhouse, or shed.

Works exactly as described. The controller kicks in perfectly to what my existing thermostats reads. Runs relatively quiet. Being for our greenhouse, it’s not so important for our application.
