Gut, aber zu teuer
Das Bord ist ein sehr kompakter Vertreter des RP2040 mit USB-C-Anschluss, zwei M0+-Cores bis zu 133MHz und 2MB Speicher. Weiterer Speicher kann über SPI angebunden werden. 29 GPIO-Ports und der stromsparende Sleep-Mode machen das Board ähnlich einem ESP32 perfekt für den mobilen Einsatz mit Akku. Wie gewohnt kann man die Anschlüsse anlöten, entweder direkt mit Kabel oder über die üblichen Pins und somit auch fürs Breadboard geeignet. Leider sind aufgrund der geringen Abmessungen nicht alles GPIOs über diese Standardpins erreichbar, 9 GPIOs sind nur auf der Platine per Lötanschluss in einem viel kleineren Raster erreichbar. Wer also möglichst viele Anschlüsse gut erreichbar haben möchte, sollte eher eine Nummer größer gehen. Der Preis ist meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu hoch. Selbst mit aktuellem Rabatt sind 8€ zuviel Geld für den RP2040, nach kurzer Suche findet man ihn für 3-5€ in gleicher Ausführung.

Vor- und Nachteile gegenüber dem originalen Raspberry Pi Pico-Board
Die Platine ist schön kompakt, aber leider um den Preis, dass 9 GPIO-Anschlüsse nur mittels selbst aufzulötender Drähte erreichbar sind. Da lobe ich mir doch das originale Raspberry Pi Pico-Board, das zwar größer ist, aber alle GPIO-Anschlüsse via Stiftleiste erreichbar macht. Als Vorteil sehe ich die USB-C-Buchse an. Wie das Original hat dieses Board 2MB seriellen Flash sowie einen BOOT-Taster, und zusätzlich (im Gegensatz zum Original) auch einen RESET-Taster. Wenn man die beiliegenden Stiftleisten auflötet, kann man das Board auch auf ein Breadboard stecken. Seltsamerweise ist dieses Board deutlich teurer als das originale Raspberry Pi Pico-Board. Mit USB-C und RESET-Taster ist der hohe Preis nicht zu rechtfertigen. Dass 9 GPIO-Anschlüsse nur durch Anlöten von Drähten benutzbar sind, ist ein gravierender Nachteil. Ich empfehle, lieber das originale Raspberry Pi Pico-Board zu kaufen, ggf. das Raspberry Pi Pico 2-Board mit dem RP2350-Controller.
