They glow, and are kind of wasteful. But for one-off things, they’re great.

Were not very bright, but length is good.
The length of these are great and they did a good job of holding together. However, the blue glow necklaces did not give off much light and were a bit of a dud. Pink seemed to be the best color with the most glow.
