A bit disappointed.
It's a single bevel but it has another on the same bevel. Find it hard to use (angle) as it has double layered bevel. It's not a proper Japanese style.

Excelente cuchillo para el precio
El precio comparado con la calidad es lo mejor este cuchillo es fabricado en la misma fábrica que sus hermanos mayores. Es increíble. Fácil de afilar

Petit mais costaud
Couteau satisfaisant. Utilisé intensivement pour le travail, l'acier s'avère un peu trop tendre. Notamment la pointe qui est beaucoup sollicitée et s'arrondit vite. Le fil revient bien avec quelques coups de Pierre, plus facile à aiguiser qu'une lame en v mais moins pratique. Il est lourd et bien équilibré ce qui en fait un petit hachoir précis, adapté pour couper des têtes et toute la première découpe jusqu'au filetage. Il faut y aller doucement sur les crustacés à carapace solide ou les poissons trop gros ou solides comme des gros thons. Le manche est ergonomique et pratique à nettoyer, la lame résiste assez bien à l'eau a part les gravures.

An excellent knife, but a bit heavier than expected.
The Deba style knife is my favorite shape for a number of reasons - knuckle clearance, blade width almost as wide as a cleaver and a long cutting edge with a point that works well for detail trimming. The Wasabi Deba is tops in all of those issues, but as compared to my Me***r Deba it is very heavy (due to the very thick blade). I like the handle and the material it's made of and it is very sharp. I find the balance a little off, and the thickness of the blade emphasizes the need for a firm wrist when using a single-bevel blade. Overall I like this knife a lot, and I'm certain I will become a bit more proficient once I've gotten a bit more practice with it.
