I installed these in my truck the sound is ok but can't hold much bass before cracking up...they say 300 watts but I doubt it..

For all the one star people out there
These are great speakers for the money from a stock sound system in a car Clearly you arenโt going to get a lot of bass from 5 x 7โs theyโre not sub woofers you only get a certain amount of amps from a radio channel without going through an amplifier. Yeah of course crank it up itโs going to sound distorted and broken because you probably just blew them out not meant for that.When it says 300 W it means thatโs what they can handle up to you they may not sound good like that but thatโs what they can handle without blowingit ou when it says 300 W it means thatโs what they can handle up to they may not sound good like that but thatโs what they can handle without blowing out. otherwise great speakers
