Victorinox Nail Clip 580 Wood Swiss Army Small Pocket Knife with Nail Clipper

This knife is beautifully made. The blades are sharp, and the ingeniously designed nail clip is now the finest nail clip I own. Other reviewers have not liked the wooden handle but this seems to me a matter of preference, not quality. It looks and feels so good that I find myself taking the knife out of my pocket just to handle and admire it. Pricey but worth every penny.

I used to have a plastic version Wenger brand and it was confiscated at the airport. This one was the closest thing to what I had (and happily used over 5 years). It took a week for it to arrive from France, a bit more expensive but worth every penny!Much nicer look and amazing design and quality. The wood scratches a little but I don't really mind.

Has all the essential features and flexibility for use especially when travelling. As usual with any Victorinox product build quality is good

While it's certainly a beautiful-looking keychain gadget, whose tools deploy with characteristic Swiss Army Knife smoothness, the walnut handle makes it the least durable of all Swiss Army Knives I own. The wood stains and tarnishes easily and no amount of cleaning could restore it to its original lustre. After owning it for only a few months, it now looks really worn.

It is what it says it is

The wood seems to be balsa tree, extremely light and not very hard. Internal construction is much better, with Victorinox mirror-like finish and attention to detail. The fingernail clipper lever is too flexible, acting more as a spring than as a lever. My fingernails are kind of thick, so it doesn't work well. Scissors and knife work fine.

Ein schönes Utensil. Hatte schon eine Nagelknipser fürs Auto (da wo man auf der Fahrt zum Kunden merkt, dass es mal nötig wäre... :-)), aber der war etwas abgeranzt. Dies ist ein Schmuckstück, ein Hand- und Augenschmeichler. Er knipst die Nägel sehr gut ab. Ich gehe davon aus, dass er das sehr lange gut tut bei dem Preis, bisher habe ich nur drei vier Anwendungen gehabt.
