I bought a Godrej lock expecting "brand-name" reliability, but it completely broke down within the warranty period. What’s even worse is the company’s attitude. When I called for a repair, I was told that I have to pay a visiting charge for the technician to even look at the lock—despite the product being well within the warranty period! What is the point of a warranty if the customer has to pay for the company’s own product failure? This is a complete scam. They sell you a premium-priced lock, it fails in a few months, and then they try to squeeze more money out of you just to provide basic service. Pros: None if it doesn't work. Cons: Poor quality, hidden charges, and zero respect for warranty terms. Save your money and buy from a brand that actually stands behind its products. I will never buy a Godrej product again.

The overall operation is satisfactory, but I find a defect in the product. Once you lock the door from inside, you can't open it (from inside) if the keyhole is in the vertical position. Therefore, it is very important to always keep the keyhole (outside) in horizontal position. This can be considered as manufacturing defect.
