Wrangler Men's Retro Slim Fit Bootcut Jean

The color matches the description. I’m 6’ 150lbs and the 30x34 fit great on the waist but were 2 inches to long at the bottom. I either roll them up at the bottom or the length is fine when I wear my work boots.

So I bought these for my boyfriend and my son. You have two totally different body types. My boyfriend is 5”11 stocking your build muscular lean legs flat bottom they’re very flattering on him. My Son ❤️ is 6 foot three extremely skinny and they gave him some shape but not too tight and he wears work boots with them and cowboy boots and both love the fit.

Way back pre-1980, Wrangler jeans came in 3 fits: "Slim", "Regular", and "Husky". But as fashions evolved, "Slim" disappeared and "Husky" was replaced by "Relaxed Fit", so aging Boomers with middle-age spread could pretend they still could "still fit in the size I wore in high school". But those of us who preferred a more form-fitting cut were out of luck. I've spent decades being annoyed by the bagginess of so-called "Regular Fit" jeans. Then, while browsing online I stumbled upon listings for Wrangler "Retro Slim Fit" jeans. Could it really be true? They were a bit pricier than the "Regular Fit", but I took the chance and ordered a pair. When they arrived and I tried them on, I'm not exaggerating when I say I was never happier with any clothing purchase I've ever made! They fit exactly as I was hoping they would. No excess fabric bunching up under my seat and thighs when I sit, but still plenty of freedom of movement. The waistband is noticeably lower than the "regular", but rides in a more natural comfortable position. Comparative measurement to the "regular" shows the "slim" to be 2 inches shorter in zipper length, measured from base to waist button. Now that I've found these, I'm never buying any other cut of jeans EVER! 1 Year Later UPDATE: I've now had 5 pairs of these for a little over a year now, and have experienced none of the quality problems other reviewers claim to have experienced. Though I have had low quality experiences with the so-called "Regular Fit" Wranglers, which are made from fabric noticibly thinner and lighter weight than the "Retro-Slim" series. The 5th pocket on "Regular Fit" is so narrow as to be virtually unusable. Also not a problem with the heavier weight better-fitted "Retro" line.

My grandson looks so handsome in these. The leather tag on the pocket is coming loose, but otherwise these are perfect.

Exactly what I wanted

This is the first pair of stretchy jeans I've ever owned. In fact, when I ordered them I didn't realize they were stretchy. I was just looking for some classic, western-type jeans. But after wearing these for a day, every pair of jeans I ever purchase for the rest of my life is going to be stretchy! These are so comfortable! And the size was perfect. I have long legs and I always worry that the pants are going to shrink. These didn't shrink a bit. The slightly stretchy material makes them very comfortable to wear.

Getting tired of returning these. This will be the fourth pair returned for various reasons. Ordered Dax-colored Retro slim BOOT CUT jeans. What I received was retro Slim STRAIGHT jeans of some other color. Wrangler claims the straight jeans will “fit over boots”. However, I wear full-size cowboy boots and the jeans don’t fit over my boots properly unless they are boot-cut specifically. Also, the jeans had an obvious dyeing flaw on the left pocket. These should not be sold at full price. These are “seconds“ quality. The jeans are pretty good so long as you get what you asked for.
