Great set! Easy to install and set up. Clear audio/video and LOTS of options. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Okay so, I’m a woman who lives alone and works second shift, so most of the day, I’m away at work. I’ve been contemplating purchasing outdoor cameras for extra security whenever I’m home or away. I finally made moves when I saw someone park their car and walk up to my house as I was pulling into my neighborhood. To Amazon I came to find this wonderfully affordable little kit. Delivery was prompt and setup was super easy. The kit comes with everything you need, however, the Ethernet cable that connects to your router is maybe a 2-footer, but that can easily be replaced if a longer one is needed. I made it work. Contents in the kit are listed in the instruction manual, as well as step by step instructions that were pretty straightforward and easy to follow. The App is easy to navigate, and uses Bluetooth from the box to connect cameras. It instructs you to scan a QR code to pair cameras but I didn’t have to do that because they automatically popped up in my devices. You just tap what pops up and it will automatically connect. ***THERE IS A SUBSCRIPTION*** BUUUT it allows you the option to go without. I chose the $15 monthly subscription because security is upgraded and it gives you a month of free service starting out. Mounting was a breeze. I used a fine tipped marker to mark through the holes on the mounting base, drilled, and installed within minutes! I only installed one camera on my front porch for now, because it was dark out but I plan on installing the other camera during the day tomorrow. After allowing one of my cameras to charge, I placed it on the mount and set it to AWAKE. After doing so, the app immediately took me through setup on the camera to test the area I chose to mount, to assure that it was within a good range for capturing footage. I’m actually glad my chosen location was approved because I’d already drilled holes in my house. 🙃 The quality is amazing and I absolutely love the features offered through the app. I also love that you can talk to people from the camera, trip an alarm, and it even has a light. I use my porch light to preserve my battery for the important stuff. Also, the mount looked stiff and I was afraid that it wouldn’t be adjustable… IT IS! You can position your camera to face wherever you need it to. The app will notify you if a person is detected. You have to manually set it to detect people or it will notify you every single time something moves. There’s a lot of stray cats in my neighborhood so I changed it. It is extremely responsive but only if your WiFi connection is strong. Mounting these close by the box was recommended but they do have an option for areas where the signal isn’t the strongest. Even in “smooth” mode, the video is very clear. So far, this is my first night and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I will update any differences observed as time progresses, but for now, I highly recommend this set.

Clear quality
The cameras work great and provide great quality as well as the sound. You are able to communicate directly through the camera as well as set off the alert. My favorite part is how easy it was to set up not only on the app but the install process all together.

Best in class wireless cameras
A review for this and the Aosu Camera Wireless, 5MP Ultra HD doorbell cam -High quality -Affordable -Durable -Strong customer service -Easy Install -Long battery life -High res -No monthly fee The 3 Aosu cameras that I installed, 1 doorbell, and 2 outdoor elevated, are perfect for my needs. I am mid-level home project guy. Advanced will have no problem, and beginner will be fine if he/she is careful and reads the instructions. My guess who these cameras are perfect for, and who they’re not perfect for. Perfect: Small home homeowner who only needs a few of these (remember you have to re-charge them), can install them high enough and out of the way enough so they are not easy to steal (see pics), but accessible for the owner to remove them for charging. And their customer service is built right into the interface—they are very responsive! Don’t be put off that the camera is not on all the time--It will come on if anyone approaches it. And, it will record briefly and save it in the included external hard drive that connects by wifi. Seems to have unlimited capacity for short vids. I believe these are perfect for the average homeowner—and I compared them with all the majors on the market. Believe me. Unless you are guarding gold bars, or live in a war zone you don’t need cameras on all the time recording every piece of life’s rich pageant. I’m glad I don’t have reels of tape to go through constantly. Not perfect: Larger homes that require many cameras, and businesses that need all cameras on 24/7, recording everything, and need everything hard-wired. Tips: Take your time installing—it is easy but since you are drilling into the outside of your house, you really want to get it right the first time. Charge the camera in advance, install the software, so you can see exactly what field of view you will have before installing. The hardest part was the doorbell--took some cutting--but still, anyone can do this. Recharge tip. The cameras are easy to unscrew from the bracket that fastens them to the house. Unscrew them, don’t try to snap them out of the brackets just for recharging. Sliding the camera out of the bracket, as they recommend, is very tough, and you risk breaking the plastic or pulling the bracket from, the house. Unscrew it instead. Also, I cannot see a condition where the charge would last for 240 days, or whatever is suggested in Aosu advertising. Mine under heavy use, lasted over two months. But that's it. Takes 4 to 5 hours to recharge. Don't sweat this though. You charge your phone everyday. No big deal to have to charge a very important device like this just once every two or 3 months. Negative: The only way to view the cameras is using a phone app. This makes little sense and seems like it would be a very easy fix. NEST, for example, has a phone and desktop app. I prefer Aosu to NEST, I have a NEST camera too, but this is a weakness for Aosu, and another reason why I think it has fewer commercial applications.

affordable price
There are pros and cons on this aosu camera system . Some of the things I dont like is you can't monitor your cameras from your home PC as I could with arlo. If you mount them under the eve of the house then it looks like you are viewing from a fish bowl, I used my arlo mounts and was able to move the aosu cameras out farther and it helped a bunch. Not crazy with the camera mounts that come with it but they will adapt to the arlo mounts and I’m sure most other that screw in . The things I like they have a very good picture and very clear. Easy to set up, I like the fact they have a spot light and a siren alarm and a spot light, the only thing is the alarm doesn’t last but a few seconds as does the spot light. The battery life seems to be good and they are easy to recharge. If they would get an app for your PC to monitor the cameras like arlo has I would of given 4 stars. All in all they are worth the money you pay for them. And you don’t need a subscription to stream them which is one of the big reasons I went with them.

Top notch home security option
I purchased four AOSU cameras and tech Support base station about six weeks ago. I have been very pleased so far. The four cameras and Bass station seem to be very high-quality. Installation was straightforward and quick. Video resolution is very good and the motion detection sensitivity can be as sensitive as you want it. You can adjust it as needed. The cross camera tracking feature is especially handy and was one of the reasons I selected this particular brand. I had some difficulty with the installation and engaged the tech-support team and was very pleased with the results. They needed to replace the base station and sent me one immediately before receiving the old one back in return. The tech support people I worked with were extremely helpful, thorough, and knowledgeable, following up after the fact to ensure that I was satisfied. My experience so far has been excellent! I am anxious to see if the battery life lives up to what is claimed on the website, but I will see as time progresses. So far, two thumbs up!

Excellent product, easy to set up and use
Excellent product, easy to set up and use. Batteries work a very long time. Motion sensors work well, even for animals if you want to. Night vision is excellent. I use these also for monitoring the traffic of cats and raccoons around my house in Florida during the nights.

Great functionality
Have used the AOSU device/cams for a few years now- reliably, with good functionality and with no fuss. It's chargeable and has a battery life across months. The real delight is this "no wires" installation, so easy to shift it to any location required. Support was prompt and accessible when I had a problem.

They are good for what you pay.
Camara quality it’s super, and night vision it’s very clear. Sometimes it’s a little slow to star recording and you can se the videos are a little late for a few seconds. But they are good, does camaras already help me two time from people taking my delivery and one person trying to open my car. My only issue it’s that they have an option for an alarm, but it’s to much, sounds like a tsunami alarma and I’m not exaggerating. And it’s that or nothing, no more sounds opinions. I will love if they have the option like other camaras just a little noise when they detect someone so it’s more like a "I can see you" but nothing crazy. Audio it’s very clear and you can talk if you need to and it’s very responsive. You don’t really need subscription, they have a iCloud option if you want but it’s not necessary (for me) and they don’t push you to get it. Keep in mind if you have the 4 camera you can’t add more at least for the model I got. I do love that sometimes will give you all the videos with movement so you can see where they go. I can only upload one video here but I put some screenshots for the day. I think if they do some improvement in the software they will be 10/10 honestly. Because the camera lens and battery are really good it’s just minimal things that they can fix with an update if they want. For now I will go with 8/10, after all very good camaras for the price.

Reliable and easy to use.
Great product, easy set up and very accurate/reliable. Batteries do last approximately 6 months all depending on how you set up your parameters. This is my second purchase of this Product, adding to current system and app is seamless.

Tolles Produkt
Es hätte 5 Sterne gegeben, wenn es einen EU Stecker gehabt hätte, oder ein Adapter beigefügt wäre. Ansonsten tolle Produkt und das Geld auf jeden Fall wert.

Great. But. Still Great.
100% Satisfied with purchase. The System is great. Battery life hasn't been great on first charge but it has been inside the house so constant Event Recording and with us testing features and live viewing often for extended periods it is expected. Even stated in manual. Easy Charging. Easy to remove and Charge. Fast Charging Stations work. Going to test Wireless Pad Next Charge. Will update the Review after 1st Charge ends. Probably in a few days the wait to see the 2nd Charge status prior to update. View and range is awesome as is the picture quality. Easy mount as well. Sound is crisp and not muffled and apparently better than my hearing (heard neighbour's whispering as I was mounting it thru camera app...). Need to pay to play with Human detection and human recognition. Ffs. The App. Meh. When viewing events it starts clip about 4 sec into so you gotta watch thru and again. The event Recording time I'm trying to see if I can increase but it does 10s intervals and misses 2s in-between start and stop. Gotta play with some settings more. Of you adjust settings the goto view live then it will crash and require a reload. Same with camera settings but only the one cam crashes. You can goto second then back to first and it refreshes. Small, easy everything, very Happy with it so far. Considering using one inside as Baby Monitor as it is far superior to our current Monitor.

Decent Camera
Been using these security cameras for a while now and overall pretty happy with it. The video quality is good, the app is simple to use, and setup is not difficult. The only downside I’ve noticed is that it sometimes doesn’t pick up motion at night, which can be a bit annoying if you’re expecting it to catch every movement. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s something noticeable. That said, their customer service has been quick to respond and actually helpful with questions and troubleshooting. Overall, it’s a good product and does what it’s supposed to, just with a couple small issues that could be improved.

Nice non-subscription outdoor cameras
So far, really great. The cameras and home base connected seamlessly. App seems great with nice features and no subscription requirement (although it is an option). The events tab and ability to talk through the phone is impressive. Have tested them inside so far and will be mounting them outside to provide ongoing security surveillance. Instructions for mounting are clear. They charged quickly and hoping the charge will last for a while.
