This product is not suitable for UK market. You cannot plug it directly to power outlet, it will be a fire hazard as it only operates on 120V. Item description didn’t specify the operating voltage.

This product is unsafe for sale in the UK. It has a US style plug and is 110 volts. As our UK supply is 240 volts you would need to buy a step down converter, which in itself is an expense and a bit of a minefield. Using this without a step down converter is a serious fire risk. It is irresponsible to sell this item for use in the UK. I would have given it zero stars for the UK if I could.

Advertised as based in UK but this product is not compatible with Uk voltage. I received a full refund.

Minus points! This product is for the US market with their lower voltage. When used in the UK the cooker burns out on first usage. Seller is refusing any contact and has so far refused Amazon's instruction to send me a return label and return my money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Update: seller only paid money back when prompted by Amazon. Product ought to be removed from Amazon UK!!

This item does not work in the UK as it is rated 120V. I had bought it in the UK and it got damaged during its first use. I am now having to go waste my time returning the item etc. to get my refund.

This product came with a if for the USA, probably the wrong voltage also, had to be returned.

My experience was horrible. First it was splashing hot boiling water everywhere with the lid on. And after all of this, the rice is completely burnt. Completely unusable product.

Great little rice cooker! Good for 2-3 people, does not make a big splashy mess like our old one. Easy to clean. Stainless steel so much healthier than the teflon-coated pots.

Received and immediately put it to use cooking some white basmati rice. Very good liitle cooker, just like the same sized one in aluminum bought 11 years ago and still going. Aroma is a very good brand and I thought about Panasonic, Elite and even Zojirushi. But or the price this offered the most. Steel coated insert so, I put a teasp of oil before in water and rice. The pot has some heft to it which i like; feels more solid. The rice can stick at the bottom but nothing difficult to clean. Advice is to wash rice thoroughly so it doesn't sputter and spit, and use some oil Before the rice and water. 2:1 should be the ratio as 2 cups o water to one cup o rice. It turned out fluffy. Also best not to use any scouring pads or sharp objects. i don't want to try and see i it is all steel through as i just bought it and i don't want the trouble o returning it, One thing though, it goes to warm when finished cooking and better to unplug so more rice sticking at the bottom doesn't happen. My older one automatically shuts off as the keep warm faction doesn't work anymore. . What happens down the lane is yet to be seen. But I love it now, and I do miss rice if i don't eat eat it for a month and I am off aluminum, plastics etc. Cheap enough and I am careful enough not to worry about it at this point. Will update if it stops working in a short time, or something. Otherwise its a good simple gadget to have as the older one is kept by my ex.

A little small but this works well. We probably should have ordered the 8-cup size. Rice does stick to the stainless steel internal bowl more easily than non-stick versions, but you can scour the stainless steel and put it into the dishwasher.
