I bought this for my dad for his birthday, but I was a bit dubious by the cardboard box it came in, so I opened it up, and it’s so nice I’m now keeping it 😂 I’m ordering another one for my dad. Turns out the packaging is just big because it’s protecting the cute little pots from the massive hot-stone!

Bought this stone set after visiting Steak and Co in Covent Garden. After the first use the stone has pitted, and the board has warped?? A complete waste of money, bitterly disappointed, and will be requesting a full refund.

What an absolutely awesome product! A superb addition to our kitchen gadgets and has immediately improved our home-dining experience. Having a truly unique cooked steak/chicken/surf & turf - whatever! - is simple and relaxing, and unsurprisingly much cheaper than going to a restaurant. Gives us plenty of money left for other accompaniments. Good stuff!

The product came promptly. It is nicely made, the actual stone isn't big enough for two good steaks, just about big enough for two 175g ones . We heated it for 50 mins in a modern electric oven @ 230degC and it wasn't near hot enough to cook the meat for more than about 3 mins . Second time, I heated it on a gas hob, it was hot enough in 40 mins . Sadly though, when it cooled we saw that it had cracked in two , despite being heated evenly on the hob. All in all, a very expensive way of cooking good steak. Disappointing.

bougjt these as a first for my husband and we love them!! Great to have the stone and side dishes for garlic etc. You do have to put them in our over for longer than suggested but the stones will get hot enough!! Steaks taste great on these.

I absolutley love this! Gives me lots of space for my steak and sides and looks great! Much better than piling everything onto one plate!

Didn't stay hot for as long as it says. Maybe 5 minutes? We did put the meat on cold though, wasn't room temperature.

Ich habe den Heißen Stein im Restaurant kennen gelernt und war fasziniert. Nun wollte ich einen eigenen Stein für zu Hause haben. Ich habe mich im Angebot überzeugen lassen und habe mich für diesen Stein entschieden, da die Beschreibung nach meiner Meinung der beste Sein war und habe bestellt. Dann kam die Überraschung. Die Maße waren eine Überraschung. Besser konnte man einen Kunden nicht täuschen. Die Maße beziehen sich auf die gesamte Platte, mit Stein, Holzplatte und Schälchen. Obwohl ich messen konnte, wie ich wollte, aber 7cm, ich hatte angenommen, es ist der Stein, habe ich nicht gefunden. Das heißt, hätte ich mich nicht auf die Irreführende Ausführung verlassen, hätte ich mich für einen anderen Stein entschieden. Ich bin stink sauer. Nie wieder mit diesem Anbieter.

Pkg was so well wrapped. Super heavy and great quality. We washed it up for first use. Preheated it on our gas grill-upper rack w indirect heating. Lost track of time how long preheated but when water sizzled we took off and placed on Metal tray within wood tray- had some super duty oven mitts. We chose to char our thick steaks on the grill. Then used the stone to cook individual bites to our preference. Used this w friends so four of us used A corner. Worked great. Stone was very hot and held heat well. Each bite was Delish and hot! Some who like their steaks more done than others worked perfectly. Clean up great. Let cool before washing. Will try more foods to experiment with. Fun and would recommend. Good price and appreciate size instead of having several small ones.

My son looooove cooking with this rock. Ever since I introduced it to him, he always want to make his steak/shrimp with it. The stone doesn't stay as hot for a long enough amount of time so with patience you can do both your steak and sides but its sturdy and cooks well. Black Rock eating at home!

I love this stone. Cooks steak the way you want it and keeps your food hot to the last bite.
