Milk Thistle 1000mg, 4:1 Extract (Silymarin), 90 Count

I have been none-too-kind to my body/liver over the years. Lifetime prescriptions and shenanigans. There are reviews on here giving accounts of both unknown effectiveness and noticeable results. I would have to agree with the latter. Noticed an almost immediate change in my bodily functions, including digestion, excrements, energy, appetite, metabolism, vitals, etc. I don't know if I'd call it a "miracle" as some do, but time will tell. Do your online research, take it as directed, and make your own decision. I feel honestly healthier after a few days. Always been skeptical of medicine outside of the scholarly (corporate) world, but this is probably something to be paid attention to. Think of it as "milk thistle or silybum". If you think you could be more nice to your valuables (as my DO says), then give it a try. There is nothing to lose.

Ok, so I’m reading the reviews and I don’t normally write a lot of reviews but I need to settle some misinformation here. First of all, milk thistle is for liver repair. The liver is really good at healing which is why when you damage it it scars really bad and reduces it’s proper function. Milk thistle helps your body keep the damage from getting worse, and actually reduces liver enzymes in your blood stream. Now I can’t argue with my blood tests, the stuff just works if you are taking it daily. I know because I quit taking it for a while and the blood test showed elevated enzymes again, so now I am a lifer. However, the science is still out as to why it actually works. Second of all these are extract, concentrated pills. This is 250Mg of extract which is 4 time more milk thistle than if you just took the herb itself. So many people are complaining this is only 250Mg when it actually very nice to have the potency without taking 4 large herbal pills (and paying 4 time the cost!) Third of all people were complaining that the old brown pills were sticking together in one clump when they were shipped in the summer time, so the solution was to coat them with a tiny bit of soy bean oil and reformulate the gel covering not to melt in the soybean oil… simply genius! Are they dark red and a little oily to the touch? YEP, SO? Let me be clear, this is the simple cost effective solution to liver health. I highly recommend these to any one. Take it from a regular Joe!
