VIZIO 2.1 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X

I originally got the ultra-cheap (short) 2.0 version of this bar for small TV in our summer house and I was impressed with the quality. So I finally decided to replace my $600 Yamaha soundbar at home. I am super impressed with the quality and functionality of this bar. Volume normalization (DRC I suppose) and dialog enhancement is the best I've ever seen, and for the price this seems ridiculous. It works flawlessly via HDMI eARC with my LG TV and Fire Cube. The only negative I found is that it doesn't include a remote but it works flawlessly with both TV and Cube remotes so I don't think an issue. Additionally it's a nice touch that settings are adjustable via the bluetooth via the App - it'd be a hassle to change them otherwise.

Would give this 5 stars but it make you not only download app but create a account which doesn't need C.C. and is free other than it leeching your personal data... Very big negative if you ask me. Also I use with my samsung tv works immediately if you have eArc hdmi input buuuut here's the catch out the box the soundbar and sub are set for way too much bass for watching TV in turn forcing you to download app and setup account in order to adjust listening experience. Which is definitely capable with this little unit..... or I would have given 1 star and set it back. So I now come to reason I give 3 stars and that is because the process of connecting phone via Bluetooth to speaker to open Vizio app to get into sound settings is in my experience very frustrating because you always have to push and hold bluetooth button for 5seconds on side of bar then connect to phone but dont sit down yet because so far every time I've tried I have to turn speaker off again,.... back on,.... then hold button again! In order for it to register on app or else you cant access device!!! Talk about pain in the butt!! When alls i want is to adjust bass for watching TV at night to not wake up family or turn up for watching football game in afternoon! Outside of that very annoying process which at times deters me from even turning TV on... The quality and overall sound from this unit is a huge upgrade from tvs built in speakers and at a affordable price point I would recommend this soundbar and sub thanks and my apologies for the length of this It is just something I wish I'd have know before I bought this I had thought this included a remote before I made purchase but there is not one

Good choice for a secondary tv setup. It’s no home theatre, but a vast improvement over any TV’s built in speakers.

Love my sound bar but why does my hone have to be close to it to work

It’s works good, sounds good and I would recommend it because you get what you pay for and I can’t complain about it all round I give it 4 to half of a 5 star
