My cabin is on a sloped lot and this leveler allows me to clean out gutters safely. No need to place stones and wood blocks underneath one leg to level it out. MUCH SAFER! My son also used it to level his ladder on his roof as he was painting the upper levels.

Do not use for any sort of load bearing activity on a roof pitched over 5/12. The traction is rubber based and not foam based, and will slide. Do not use to stabilize your ladder for a double pull on such a roof. But it is perfect to level ladder feet on sloped ground, and will keep your tools from sliding off the roof. Just do NOT use as a load bearing pitch hopper!! It is not a replacement!!

Grip tape began to peel from pressure from the ladder's foot on it the first time I used it. Still a pretty good product but disappointing for damage to occur the first time using it.

This is a very helpful item for semi steep roofs. Great for holding items and standing on as well. One of the most economical ways to make you more secure on a roof. Well worth the cost. I bought two. One for me to stand on while the other one holds my five gallon roof costing.

Ich hatte das Problem, dass ich eine Lampe reparieren musste, die neben einer Treppe an der Wand befestigt war (siehe Foto) - und ich kam nicht ran, bin offenbar zu klein. Ich brauchte also eine Leiter, die man auf eine Treppe stellen und gegen die Wand lehnen kann. Und ja, ich weis, es gibt Leitern bei denen man die Länge aller vier Füsse einzeln verstellen kann. Habe ich aber nicht und kosten aufwärts von 200 Euro. Dann stiess ich bei Amazoon auf diesen Artikel, und bestellte ihn - falls er ungeeignet ist, kann man ihn ja zurücksenden. Und ich war sehr positiv überrascht: Er ist auf allen Seiten rutschfest gummiert, sehr stabil un macht für mich genau was ich brauchte (siehe Foto). Ich bin zufrieden und werde das Teil behalten.

Works perfectly well for my stairs. Very sturdy and felt safe using it with my syneco folding ladder.

I used an earlier version of this device that a painter loaned me. It made it possible for me to safely secure my holiday lights in places I couldn't possibly reach before. Not only does this roof leveller work safely on a roof, but can be used on a variety of slopes making it even more safe and practical. A third feature is the fact you can use it on stairs. Although I haven't tried the stair feature yet, I am looking forward to finishing some crown mouldings in a very high stairwell in the future. The anti-skid grips on the leveller help ensure your safety although it is always critical to test your weight and ladder on the leveller before climbing too high. If you follow the directions and use it properly, this tool is the best thing any home owner with a sloped roof could ever wish for.
