Poor quality product
The product viture HDMI XR was a very poor product, after using it for 5 days the item burnt down while charging, would advice to check for other brand instead

Works perfectly so long as you have an Apple branded adapter and not simply an MFI one. The Apple one is the only one that fits correctly. Battery life is considerably longer than expected. Charging with USBC is perfect. Compatible with an iPhone 12 and 14.
