Absolutely love this bread slicer. Very well made and the suction cups keep it perfectly stable. It works as advertised and easily (and evenly) slices through bread. Would definitely buy again, but given the metal construction, I doubt I’ll ever need to replace it.

I just started making sourdough and wow my fellow wo-workers are happy. I was happy until I gained 5 pounds. This bread slicer works incredibly well. You can dial in any thickness you would like and it is even and a smooth cut. You can even use it to slice the entire length of a baguette to make a killer sub sandwich. The materials are high quality, and the reason I bought this brand is that you can replace the blade if needed in the future, not all brands allow this (ask Rufus if you need to know it this is possible on the brand you are looking at)

Needed a quality / reasonably priced bread slicing tool to slice up a dozen loafs of homemade sourdough bread for a party. Normally just slice with a good bread knife by hand but this was simply too much. Took a chance on this Brvclon unit and was frankly surprised at how good it is. Fresh Sourdough isn't easy to slice. Tough and crusty outside, soft and sometimes inconsistent crumb inside. I sliced all 12 loaves in about 20 minutes or so, including putting the slices in their party storage containers. It cut every slice just right and of equal thickness. I got more slices out of each loaf than usual by hand. Probably an extra 20% easy. Cool. The little machine worked great. Easy to adjust thickness and cut. One issue you might have is that the base to the left of the blade (the uncut loaf side) is too small to support a whole loaf. So I just put a small cutting board of the same height to provide more surface support. NP. I've since used this machine on my other breads and doubt I'll be using my trusty bread knife as much in the future!!

If you make sourdough bread, this is for you. So much easier than trying to use a knife. It works great. Suction cups really do hold the slicer in place. Highly recommend.

This slicer is great. I only make homemade bread to ensure my family doesn’t ingest harmful chemicals found in store products. This allows you to make slices thin for sandwiches or thicker slices for toast. The slices are uniform and there is no waste

I have been making sourdough for years now, and always struggled with cutting uniform slices of bread. And cut it thin enough for a sandwich? Yeah right! I bought this on a whim and Oh Em Gee. How did it take so long for me to buy this??? It cuts bread beautifully and effortlessly. You have to only slightly push the loaf forward while turning the blade and it cuts the bread perfectly! I can’t rave enough about it. The suction cups on the bottom keep it in place, and the adjustable thickness is awesome too. I really only make regular sourdough breads, nothing with other things added in. I can imagine something like breads with garlic cloves baked in would make the cutter a bit less convenient because you’d have to take it apart to wash the blade every time, and I think that would be a hassle. If I make a sticky bread I’d stick to a knife just cuz I’m lazy and don’t want to take it apart to wash it. Lol

I don't post many reviews but this slicer is a game changer. I've recently started baking my own bread and this slicer is the bomb! I leave it on my counter 24/7 and slice my bread as I need it. It's both pretty and practical. Love that is adjustable and it gives the option for thin uniform sliced for sandwiches.

Amazing quality. Sturdy, sharp, precise. Will last a really long time. The wood base is heavy and solid with a nice finish. Cleans easy with brush provided. I love how you can use the included wrench to lock down your favorite thickness.

Works great, Evan on sourdough bread. The suction cup bottom hold it in place. Great move, but getting at the cups to release should be easier.
