I found these skin protectors to be very easy to install, about the same as an iPhone screen protector. I haven't ever used a laptop skin, but I decided to purchase these since my last Mac laptop had some scratches on the exterior after ~8 years of use, despite always keeping it in a case. I still use a case, but like that these offer surface protection even when in use, and are much thinner than a hard shell. Appearance wise: I can hardly tell a difference. I don't think you would even notice them unless you're looking for it. I decided not to put the protector on the mouse pad since it adds a bit more friction than the mousepad itself. Value for the money to protect what's probably the most expensive thing I own besides a car is great. I didn't have any issues or notice glare from my laptop before, but if that's something you struggle with, I can see how the matte skin would alleviate glare. Overall excellent quality and I recommend this item.

The skins are almost transparent, with a very slight matte finish. They go on easy and fit the laptop features perfectly. I took my time aligning the skins and smoothing them out with the included tool. Any of the very minor lines or trapped air bubbles smoothed out easily and disappeared after a few hours. The slightly matte finish seems to give the laptop more of a non-slip grip and feels good in the hand. Based on initial use, these should really help keep the laptop scratch and smudge free.

Apple doesn’t recommend a traditional screen protector for the new MacBook pros so I tried this as an alternative. I have used privacy screen protectors before, and this one altered the color of my screen too much for my liking, and also required me to turn up the screen brightness too much for my liking. Additionally, since the magnet is only at the top, you have to apply the adhesive tabs to the bottom of the screen, negating the whole point of the magnetic screen. The screen still gets dirty as well since it does not adhere to the screen all of the way around, trapping particles between the protector and the screen. Total waste of time and money.

Overall, I’m ok with this product. The cuts fit very well and lined up exactly as expected. It also came with easy-to-use applicators that made positioning and applying it simple, even without prior experience. The installation process was straightforward and didn’t take long. On the downside, the material quality is decent but not amazing. It’s not as crystal-clear as I imagined and you can definitely tell there’s a clear vinyl layer. There were also a few small air bubbles near the logo area, and the surface seems like it could scratch fairly easily if you’re not careful. That said, for the price it is not worth since ive tried other brands in similar range with better quality but for ease of application it has been the easiest one i have installed. it does what it’s supposed to by protecting your computer but dont expect it to look perfect.

I would recommend this transparent skin protector if you would like to protect your MacBook. precisely and installs easily without bubbles.

Easy to apply. Makes the Macbook grippy. Helps keep the scratches at bay and will protect the palm rest and mouse pad from "oil". I like that its transparent. I really wish I was able to keep the lint out of the application but that is largely user error. Very nice product, excellent price.

The skin looks pretty ok and it's relatively easy to apply although some sort of alignment tool or guide would have been useful. Does not look "cheap" like other ones I've tried. However, the quality is just ok. One of the edges on the top skin is not smooth (a little rough). You can see a small defect and can definitely feel it.

Edit Oct. 15th, 2025: Since I placed the films on the laptop, the edges are already fraying and peeling off all sides. I use my laptop daily and make sure I take the upmost care to not ding the sides; if anything, I am now more diligent about taking care of my laptop since adding the films. This is pretty disappointing since I just purchased the product a few short months ago. I cannot return the item, so it is now wasted money. I docked a star because of this. ------ Original Review: Some pros and cons to be aware of, please note I did not use the film for the track pad: Pros: - The film is extremely thin and lightweight! There are times when I forget it is there and worry about my laptop's protection. - My palm rests near the track pad look and feel great! They adhered smoothly, and I can barely notice they are there. - The product has a nice feel; it features a slight texture that helps grip and matte the laptop (which I like), but it is not too noticeable. - The product fits my laptop well, albeit I could not match up the holes for the foot pads on the bottom side. Cons: - The films do not offer any protection for the sides of the laptop. - The films have crease marks where the backing sticker opens to place the film on the laptop. I also have a few spots that did not completely adhere, so my case looks dusty. The same applies to the air gap in the Apple logo. - The QR code sent with the product to an instructional video was for the wrong product, but it was easy to find the correct video from there. Overall, it is a solid product and is almost worth the price. I suggest the company figure out a better way to place the backing stickers on the film to reduce the crease line. I would appreciate it if I could get a replacement, but I don't think it is possible; the films are already in place and cannot be returned.

La verdad es un excelente producto el corte está muy bien hecho, no es tan fácil su instalación pero las guías que trae lo hacen un poco más sencillo, en mi caso, me quedo como si se viera cochino pero me gustó el producto

The bottom piece seems to fit nicely. Will be 5 stars if the top piece is slightly bigger without leaving a slight gaps on all four edges.

Actually it is not good; it is only a thin film like screen protector nothing more. The product came as in photo and it seems that it as previously used. I am not able to return as i found the above after I already used it and installed the top sheet and I was already. Overall not recommended.
