Wonderful! Amazing! Life improving!
I am old with a bad back. It has become difficult, even impossible for me to keep the floor care up. I have a cat and a bird feeder in the house. The bird feeder tracks in seeds and mud. I have a Eufy 11S and a Roomba 980. I’ve had a couple mopping robots, one a Roomba and one an ILife Shinebot. I love clean floors above all else. I decided to research new robots that have come out since 2017. I found “Just A Dad” videos and quickly learned about the Roborock Qrevo Curve. I really loved it off the bat except for the $1599 sticker price. I continued researching until one day when Amazon had $500 off. Since I had paid around $900 on the Roomba 980. This was really a deal. I ordered it and immediately discovered it vastly exceeded all my expectations. For the last 18 days, I have run it daily. The hard floors are now cleaner than they have been in years!! No streaks or weird residues. They feel so good under bare feet. I can slide on the floors with my socks on. Woo hoo!! Pros: Edge cleaning and transition cleaning Corner cleaning Superior floor mopping Mostly maintains itself Much quieter than my other robots except for dead Roomba mop Empties itself of debris Cleans and dries mop pads Has a bag to contain all the debris so there is never any nastiness to clean up manually Cons: It’s hard to think of any. The cost can be a stumbling block and in fact it was for me. But sales do happen. I love it. It’s easy to use, and you can almost forget about it compared to the Roomba and Eufy. Not having to empty debris after each use is such a game changer! Real Life info: I do have to fill the water tank every other day. This is because I use the highest water setting and I have a lot of hard flooring to clean. This is simple for me because I don’t have to empty and clean a yucky dust bin and brush rollers. The bag can last 3 months. It is nowhere near full. I’ve had to clean the dust filter a few times due to the large build up in the carpets. I suspect this number will drop as the Curve sucks up more dirt with each vacuum. It has gotten stuck under beds so I’ve taken care of that by making under beds a No Go zone. It’s extremely smart. The more I use it. The more intuitive it gets. Not everyone will use a robot as much as I do. If you would use it 1-2-or 3 times a week, and use lower settings, then robot maintenance would drop dramatically. I, however, love the higher power settings. I do highly recommended this robot! It has actually cheered me up. It is truly magnificent! The other vacuuming robots could scatter crumbs and cat litter (Eufy) and frequently, (very frequently), get stuck and be hard to find. This Roborock model has no real issues and with the map, you always know where it is. Update: another Pro- my cat is not afraid of this robot compared to the Roomba.

It works great
Had to replace my Roborock S8 Pro Ultra because dog poop and cleaning it with water. This Qrevo Curve has the spinning mops and the slide out mop to mop along edges and slide out brush to get in corners. It’s more quiet when mopping and vacuuming then S8. Not sure it has more sucking power because it’s sounds the same on the highest setting as my S8 did. It has settings so you can wash the mops at regular room temperature or warm or hot water. S8 did not have that. It’s more easy to clean the mop area on the Qrevo Cruve because the entire tray just pulls out. On the S8 Pro Ultra Dock you have to bend down and unhook the cleaning brush and filter to clean them. It kinda pain because you can’t really see or reach down to floor to get them out and back in. The Qrevo Curve dock floor/ramp is one piece vs the old style of you look at them you see how far out the plastic ramp/tray. It’s two pieces and also has vents for sucking out the dirt out of vacuum and the air vents to dry the mop. I had take it apart to wash off because it collets lot of dirt and I found their is a little rubber square seal were they come apart. After 1 year the seal was broken. Not a big deal and everything still works as normal just seems like bad design idea to me.. The new single roller design has not had any hair or anything get tangled in them yet. The S8 vacuum has two roller but nobody talks about having to remove and clean the hair that gets around the rollers. If you have pet dog or cat that’s more cleaning on the robot. The new single roller solved that problem. The new edge cleaning brush also has not collected any pet hair that I had to remove and clean on S8. It also has camera you can watch as it’s vacuuming or you can go looking for pets or make call to the vacuum and listen from the app. It has extra height lift for the vacuum to go over thresholds or if you have extra thick or tall carpets or rugs If my S8 Pro Ultra did not stop working I would not upgrade, if your getting one for first time the Qrevro Curve has nice little improvements. I got it on sale so that help a little. Only had this one for 2 weeks so far Update 11-3-25 it still going good. I add some pictures you can see how video looks if you want to see what the vacuum can see when going under beds. It had pet finder or you can go looking for you pet with the vacuum as like a little robot finder. You can talk from phone app thru the vacuum. It not some you need but kinda fun thing to play with. The video does freeze a little when the vacuum is rolling around cleaning but you can watch if you want ha ha Update 11/4/24 People don’t seem to show if the mopping actually cleans floors. So I added some pictures and you can see it definitely does work. The dirty water tank gets a lot more stuff than you might think and I have puppy. Update 5/27/25 It’s still work great. Roller brushes have not got tangled with hair or anything. Did run over some dog treats and got jammed. So had stop it remove the dog treat. The dust bin can fill up because it smaller and it won’t vacuum anymore. You are better off running vacuum every couple days so it doesn’t get full. You run it everyday or 2 times weeks. Don’t think running it once every 2 weeks will make it last longer. Unless you don’t have much dust or stuff on carpets because you could fill up dust bin. Sometimes use the AI Smart Plan settings it seem to vacuum and mop kitchen two time and rest of floors once. Sometimes setting I turn on in app was the automatic remapping of the floor are dirty and it does work and automatically tempo sometimes. I turn on the WARM water wash on the dock. It has HOT settings almost have not used it yet. If have charging cords or shoe laces from sneakers on floor you need to picked them up. I did replace the mops and all the filters. The battery in vacuum only down to 71% after 1:15( 1 hour and 15 minutes) after mopping and vacuuming. I got a big bottle of cleaning solution(85 oz) that was a lot cheaper then the one Roborock sells. I work good and leave little shine on the floors

WARNING DON'T BUY FROM ROBOROCK!!!
Edit: Review changed. So I took the robot apart, the extending arm has a bunch of gears, and strangely, one of those gears has a slip on top of it made of a completely different material entirely. Not even the same color. Guess which gear COMPLETELY fell apart losing most of it's teeth. You cannot convince me this is not by design. Any material changes within a system will result in a failure at the weakest, or better most brittle point. This appears, to me, to be designed to fail at this point. They won't sell me the replacement gear, or even the entire arm. Instead, I need to ship it to them to fix for 1/5 of the price of the whole vacuum. Sorry, no shot I'm sending this back to them to put in the same fail point that seems pretty clearly designed to fail. That is called "built-in obsolescence" and is predatory. Be careful with these reviews, I have my doubts they are not Chinese bot reviews. Just read a few five star reviews, pretty clearly not native English speakers. Attached is a picture of the failure. 1600 dollar machine and a year later its broken. It started making clicking noises, and shortly after the extending arm malfunctioned. I contacted Roborock and it was out of the year long warranty. So I pulled the arm off, and saw that one or two gears had been completely stripped of their teeth. Small plastic gears that render a 1600 dollar machine useless. Now I know the price is way down, and if I'd only payed 700 dollars for it maybe I would not be so harsh, but I did, and expected a quality machine. I Contacted Roborock with photos and their offer was to give me 20 dollars off a new machine. That said, it wasn't great while it worked, just ok. Got it because it was recommended for pet hair, which it did a good job of. However software was awful. You can't set it up to return to dock to unload the bin, but you can in the case its mopping to have it clean the mop at intervals. It makes no sense. So you need to set up rooms on timers so it will finish the task to go back and empty. Otherwise it will overheat with a full bag and stop picking things up or get jammed. Bad design. Also, maybe 4 or 5 times it would somehow have its internal map rotate and would stubbornly go someplace it shouldn't be because it thought the map was in a different place. Had to reset the map, start over, and reprogram the no go zones every time to fix it. Another major issue was that the robot would not be able to enter the doc if the wheels were wet at all after mopping. If it was vacuuming it had no problems, but on a mop cycle the robot would go to the doc, and slip wheels at the entry and never return to clean the mop or empty the bin, resulting in just spreading dirt all over the place. Overall, if it still worked a year later I'd probably say its about a 2 to 3 star, just because the price was too high for what it was. At 700 like it is now 3 or 4. But with it breaking after only a year with super cheap tiny gears made of fragile plastic, its not even worth 700 if tou can't buy the gears to replace them. We will see how it turns out, but expect this one to break. It ran once a day for a year, mopping only twice a week.

Beats our Dreame X30 Ultra
March 2025 Update: A correction: the dust bags of the Dreame and Curve are NOT interchangeable. An annoying quirk on the Dreame is the custom room cleaning set up. On the main device home page is a Custom settings tab. There you can set how you want each room to be cleaned (e.g. 2x mop/vac, vac only, etc.). Seems like a nice feature. Then you go to schedule to run the vac at whatever time you want - also a nice feature. But, it does not use those custom room settings you set up! You have to start all over IN the scheduling area of the app to customize the room setting. This doesn't make sense to me. What's worse is that before I figured this out (with the help of a half dozen emails to Dreame tech support), it would run a full clean and SOMETIMES would 2 x mop/vac the room I had so set up in the main device page, but sometimes not. It would never "vac only" the room so set up. Dreame says that's not what it is supposed to do but I can see that sometimes it would do exactly that. Very odd. In any case, once I set up the room customizations in the scheduling tab, it works as expected. I have to say that despite some clear English-Chinese translation challenges with their support group's emails, they were very responsive and I think sincerely trying to help me sort out the problem, including remote accessing the vac's logs and trying to explain to me how I was supposed to set things up in the scheduling tab, not the deice tab. Otherwise, all three vacs continue to work very well with a slightly better score for the Curv. Original Review (Feb): Our robot army now includes a Shark Matrix, Dreame X30 Ultra and this Qrevo Curv. We have a 3,200 sq. ft single level home but a step up raised central portion divides the other two areas of the home, so it is either pick up and move a robot every day or buy three vacs. We opted for a fleet of robots. For various reasons, not the least was: "which is really better", we bought from three different brands. The Matrix is a lower level vacuum-only robovac, but it works very well. The Curv is the most expensive of the other two, but close in price, particularly if you get the Curv for the same $1,300 that the Dreame retails at, though the Dreame is typically on sale for a $300-500 less than MSRP. Still, they claim to have nearly identical features. In practice, however, the Dreame gets stuck under counters and on area rugs where the Curv has never had that problem. While the Dreame is reported to have better obstacle avoidance for things like cables, we have seen no real world difference between the Curv and Dreame - both will occasionally try to eat cables. I like the auto detergent dispensing feature of the Dreame, but we like the extending mop brush of the Curv. Adding detergent is no big deal on the Curv, but we can see the Curv's extended mop does a better job in corners than the Dreame. Both are about as loud, or quiet, as each other. They use identical replacement dust bag,s which is nice. Both have decent sized water tanks and you can control dozens of cleaning and automation features on each. However, I find the app for the Curv to be more intuitive, though I think there's a learning curve to both. E.g. try to find how to adjust the time between mop cleans on the Dreame. Hint: Its not under settings. I had to go to YouTube to figure out how to change the setting. Also, we've set 2x mop for several room on the Dreame but when the day's cleaning is done, it appears that it does not always do the second room mopping. I'm still investigating whether this is an app issue or the vac really does forget to go back over those two room. Interestingly, both of them have trouble with floor length mirrors and floor to ceiling windows, which several of our rooms have. They think there is another room and will try hard to get to the imaginary rooms unless I "no-go zone" them. This is the inherent problem with LIDAR, and probably camera, mapping. This is easily fixed with the "no-go" zone feature of both vacs. Both vacuums are excellent and have made our lives much simpler. Getting used to each vac's quirks takes a little time, but once you figure them out, they are easy to work with and it is amazing to see and appreciate the amount of self-washing, mopping and edge cleaning automation each provides. The Curve is typically a few hundred more than the X30 Ultra, but while both are very similar, if I needed another vac I would probably spend the extra and spring for another Curv because of the "I'm stuck" events we've seen with the Dreame. If I did not own both vacs, I wold be happy to have another Dreame. You really can't go wrong with either.

Perfect for Hands-Free Cleaning (Almost!)
I bought this for my mom, and overall it’s been a great upgrade for her daily cleaning routine. First of all, the design is beautiful — the white color looks very clean and modern, and it blends nicely into her home instead of looking bulky like some other robot vacuums. Her main requirements were pretty simple: scheduled cleaning, low noise, and minimal maintenance. This robot checks all those boxes. The scheduling feature works reliably, the noise level is quite reasonable (definitely not disruptive), and the self-cleaning mop system is a huge plus — she doesn’t have to deal with washing it manually anymore. The app is also relatively easy to use, even for someone who isn’t very tech-savvy. She was able to get used to it quickly, which was important for me when choosing this model. The only downside she mentioned is that the water tank could be a bit larger. It works fine, but a bigger tank would mean fewer refills and make it even more convenient for daily use. Overall, it’s a very well-designed and user-friendly robot vacuum, especially for families looking for something low-maintenance and easy to operate. Would definitely recommend it, especially for parents or anyone who values convenience.

Very Impressive Robot Vacuum & Mop! Absolutely Love!
I love, love, love this robot vacuum. I took a chance and ordered two (one for each of the primary floors of house). I could not be happier!! I have used another popular brand for years, but that other brand required constant attention and maintenance, and never performed to the level I really wanted. When I saw these advertised, I decided to give it a try! I am so glad I did. The cleaning is far superior to the other brand, and the mopping is an added plus that I didn't have before. I have 6 cats, so I run these almost daily, and the vacuums do a great job on staying on top of cat hair and keeping my floors cleaned and mopped. Also, the robots did an exceptional job of mapping my floors. The prior brand could take hours mapping the floor layout. This robot did it mere minutes with great accuracy! The app is very easy once downloaded. Finally, I love that these robots clean and sanitize themselves. I don't have to constantly clean or detangle! The only thing the prior brand may have been slightly better at was recognizing cords, but this is an easy fix as I have ensured all cords are now out of way. I will never go back to the prior popular brand! These robots are worth every penny!

Object detection and mapping algorithms need a lot of improvement. Parts are hard to clean.
Overall it's a good product. It saves a lot of human efforts to keep the floor clean. But given the price tag, there are too many annoying issues. 1. The product itself is very hard to deep clean. There are so many hard-to-reach spots in almost every component that needs regular cleaning. * Water tanks: there are so many weird blocking elements that simply make it extremely hard to reach and clean out. * Mop washing tray: spots near the black floating box requires very tiny brushes to reach and clean * Base Station: very hard to clean. I had to lay on the floor and use a carpet vacuum reach and clean it inside out. The areas near and beneath the mop cleaning tray is hard to reach and clean and has to be done manually. 2. Poor object detection. It can only detect and evade very large obvious objects. Countless times it just struggles with toys, cables, wires, etc. It's better than no object detections, but with all the sensors, it is not doing a good job. It's not fun to see it wrestling with a carpet it accidentally get under with. 3. A little concerns on the build quality. Overall no major issues found but two annoyances: A) The mop washing tray cracked a little after a few months usage. This may be just an exception. The customer service is very responsive and mailed a replacement part immediately. B) The adhesives on the mopping pad somehow got lose. There is no way to fix but to get a replacement from the customer support. I just wonder what if these issues happen again once it's out of warranty. 4. No indicator of mop life and trash bag status. You have to manually check if it's time to replace the mops and the dust bags. 5. Water tank is too small. It can cover ~1800sqft with a full water tank. Expect to frequently change water and clean the water tank if you have a larger floor to cover or if you set up daily mopping schedules. 6. Mapping issue. This may be a bug that has been fixed. But it did happen once that the Robot just got lost one day and couldn't find it's way home. And it had been failing to work until I factory-reset it. It haven't happened ever since. 7. Voice control is barely useful. 9 of 10 times it did not work as expected. 8. The cleaning power is just OK. If I let it clean room, and use the Dyson V12 on the same floor, the laser shows there are still some dusts left over. Maybe sheds from the mop? I don't know.

Honest 3month review from every floor type and after 63 hrs of run time.
Honest review from someone with every floor type after 3 months of heavy use. Highly recommend the Qrev Curv, pros and cons below. At the time of writing this review we have 63hrs and 3,013m2 (32,431ft2) of use on this machine. In my house we have two cats, two people with long hair, and we entertain guests. We also have a mix of area rugs, tile, hardwood, and high-pile carpet. The main floor size is about 82m2 [1,000ft2]. After shopping around and reading reviews (BTW, I highly recommend watching Vacuum Wars Reviews on YouTube), the threshold feature put us over the top. The vac runs 4 times per week and we spot clean on demand. The battery does not dip below 60% after intensive cleaning. It has only gotten stuck twice, and in both cases, we learned how to prevent it in the future. It is very smart about avoiding obstacles, and we haven’t had a problem with it running over anything unintended. Right now, my wife and I are of the opinion that if it makes it 1 year working like it has, we would rebuy in a heartbeat. Pros: It handles all the flooring types very well. It has been excelling on tile, hardwood, and low pile area rugs. The high pile does an OK job but leaves drag marks from the side bristle. If your area is more than 50% high pile be aware of that because you will notice the tracks. The App is also very impressive. It mapped my house quickly and in extreme detail. Sectioning off the house was very easy and we have a schedule feature set up for light cleaning 3 days a week plus one deep clean day that gets everything. We also constantly use it for spot cleaning when our kids make a mess. It will mop out most unset stains or most sticky messes. There have been a few times when something had to be hand washed because the vac couldn’t get it out but those were more spot treatments than general use. Cons: With a 4-day-a-week cleaning schedule, the water tank lasts about 2 weeks max. The box also does not come with any kind of detergent, so if you want soap you need to buy it upfront. Also, the dirty tank will smell very bad when you clean it. I’ve gotten into the habit of cleaning it once or twice a week and adding white vinegar to keep things from growing in the tank between maintenance. Lastly, you need to let it map everything in the house at once during startup. We have a ground-floor master and had it closed off because a baby. When the baby moved to their own room, we wanted Rocky to start vacuuming the master bedroom. However, it had mapped the floorplan to the door only and wouldn’t go in and learn the new room. To get it to do the bedroom, it meant having it remap the entire main floor, which is 90min process for us specifically. From there, we tell it which rooms to skip or block it off with doors or furniture when we want it to skip something.

Superb robot vacuum cleaner
Superb robot vacuum cleaner, it surpassed my expectations. Very good vacuuming, excellent mopping on our wooden floor, does not leave residues. Its navigation is precise, it never remained stuck. Super granular mobile application, easy to set up and to utilise.
