Kids love this especially the color change Very safe would buy again

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This one is very minimally priced and in my budget. It has very bright colors and although it takes a few hours to fully start its magic once it is ready it dazzles with very fluid color changes and the blob moving up and down gives a relaxing vibe. Compact and stylish.

If I could give this a zero star rating, I would. The coil at the bottom of the glass tube that is supposed to heat the entire lamp is only hot at the bottom; the heat does not transfer throughout the lamp and thus we have not gotten any "lava" to work. There has been no motion. Left the lamp plugged in for days, the bottom gets warm but the rest of the lamp stays ice cold and thus the wax doesn't move within the lamp. A total waste of money for a Christmas gift.

We Love the lamp and the remote control that comes w it for the different colors and effects. Only thing I'm cautious about is that the glass and metal base heat up EXTREMELY HOT after awhile. So it's not good to leave it on for too long. Or leave it unattended too long also. Just something to be aware of. Overall, it's a nice gift and calming to watch.

I haven’t had this yet quite a week yet, so hopefully I’m not giving it a 5 star rating pre-maturely but so far I really am enjoying it. This review is for the larger size lamp because I like the flow on the larger sizes better. I did purchase the extended warranty as well. It does take a little time to warm up but that can be said for all lava lamps. I love the mode with the clear fluid with vibrant colors like the green, blue and pink the best. Be careful though, I wouldn’t recommend it around little ones because like all lava lamps it does get hot. In my opinion the video doesn’t quite do it the Justice it deserves, I think it’s much better in person. If anything changes I will update, but so far remote and lamp have been working great!

Purchased this for my son‘s room. He absolutely loves the color changing ability. It’s the perfect size for a bedroom. Well-made, and the remote control makes it fun. It’s not very heavy, but like most lamps, it does get warm. The LED feature should make it last a lot longer than the one we had with a bulb.

I should have listened to the negative reviews. It worked for a few days, long enough for the box to be disposed of, but now most of the wax is stuck to the sides of the glass. It doesn't melt no mater how long the lamp is on, up to 14 hours. The room temperature is in the 80s.

Still going strong after a few months. Bright and vivid colors! Very happy.
