Used daily it does help prevent cold sores from appearing. However if used as soon as you feel a cold sore appearing it does help to reduce the attack from becoming bigger (if you have cold sores you will understand!) The old formula tube lasted a good couple of months. The new formula is terrible it’s like a runny oil and smells horrible. The small tube lasted me 2 weeks Why they had to change it when it was brilliant as it was.
