I was ready to give this a quick "one star" because the second I pulled this remote out of the box and carefully removed it from the plastic wrap I immediately saw that some previous owner's dog decided this was a chew toy. It was very damaged with teeth marks. Annoying, because that person pulled a "fast one" but also annoying because someone at Amazon did not do their job of quality control to look at it before re-shipping.In the grand scheme of things, I had a replacement at my door in 24 hours. That was better.This remote unlocked things in my TV that I didn't know were available. I have a Samsung 55" (CU7000) where the old remote was falling apart from being dropped too much. That remote did NOT have voice remote control.With this new one, it recognized it and paired right away and I know have more options than I never knew possible. It looks exactly like my old one and does a better job.On a personal rant, I hate how small these are. So easy to get lost...anywhere. But, this remote works, it works well and is a perfect replacement for a damaged Samsung remote.

I opened the box and hit the power button on this remote and it turned on my Samsung TV. We have a UN70DU7200BXZA and the original remote just stopped working. At first I thought it was the TV, but the Roku remote still worked to power the TV and change the volume. Ordered this to have a remote to change the TV settings as needed, all buttons and functions worked instantly with no pairing required. This is a great replacement remote.

Great replacement! If you’re like us, miss placing the TV remote is a favorite family past time. We needed an extra for those times the remote magically disappears. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money and this remote fit the bill. It’s small and very user friendly. It paired to the TV quickly and has been working perfectly for months now.

The Samsung remote that came with our TV for the living room had way too many buttons. I purchased another Samsung TV for our bedroom a couple of years later that had this remote. I found that when I would use this remote, it was so much easier, and I never hit the wrong button. Even though this is not technically a Samsung remote, it works perfectly, and honestly, it feels better in my hand than the Samsung version. It’s a perfect replacement, and I didn’t even have to do anything other than put in the batteries, my Samsung TV recognized it without having to pair it. Highly recommended!

Yay! I can use my tv. I messed up and lost the charger cord. Actually forgot it charged. D sticks knife in the hole. Ugh. I got the new remote quickly. Easy to set up great value and made it way easier than the original was!

My old Samsung TV control wasn’t working anymore. The buttons kept on getting stuck. I bought this replacement and it works great. It worked without me having to pair it to my TV. It looks very similar to my original control. The only difference is that the new one has a Disney+ button. Comes with easy instructions. The price was low. Very lightweight too.

I purchased it as a replacement for the LG TV remote that I had for 2 years. I purchased other products that didn’t work including a two pack from Amazon which only one of the two remotes worked and eventually quit functioning within 12 months.On first use it was very easy to set up. Instant connection from the time that I put the batteries in. Voice controls did not work. I attempted the instructions both on the remote and Amazon, and these did not work. Neither do the Disney+, Alexa, or LG channel buttons however the Netflix and Prime Video buttons both work. The function as a magic remote was not worth the extra dollars. We will have to see if it lives longer than its predecessor.There are no instructions on how to set up the multicolored other Functional buttons, and therefore are essentially useless.Overall, the instant connectivity and thus minimal setup make it an excellent replacement remote. I’m not sure that at double the cost of others that it is a worthwhile price for the nonfunctioning magic, remote and 4 of 10 nonfunctioning quick buttons.

Great quality. 80%like original. Not like other cheap remotes where it is hard to click.

Found the back opening to place batteries was very difficult to open, other than that is fine.
