I needed to run a string line on a long slope for a fence project. I have yet to spend a bunch of money on a digital leveling kit. (Next big purchase)Usually I use a mason line and a few line levels. This kit came with everything and was pretty accurate. I tested the line with lots of line levels just to make sure. It gave me a good start on where to run the top boards. I could have run to Loweโs and saved a few dollars by getting a mason line and a few cheap levels but this came right my door. It did snap once when I was pulling it super tight but otherwise a pretty good deal!

This things is going to last me forever!! I am using it to tie a line on a stake, which just uses tension so I can use the same piece over and over without having to cut it off the spool. The levels are a little finicky, the bubble will split into multiple bubbles while itโs moving around but it only takes a moment or two to form back into one main bubble.

String Levels Included
It's orange string on a plastic spool. What you see is what you get. Pretty cool that the string levels are included. Saved me from buying them separately. I helped a friend use this string and level to build a post and pier foundation. Our concrete posts ended up dead level, within an eighth of an inch across the length of the foundation. Probably beginner's luck, but it made me a fan of string levels.

Love this cord for it's quality and strength. But the reel could be better. The string falls off at times and you cannot "lock" it in when not using. The little notch is too big to keep the string tight. But overall worth the cost and definitely durable and easy to use.
