Clean Mist Cartridge 3-Pack for Humidifiers, Compatible with DREO Humidifiers HM311/311S/524/524S/306, Reduce Contaminants Build-up, Healthier Mist, Easier Cleaning

I purchase a Dreo humidifier and I bought these demineralization cartridges to use along with it. The Dreo is great - so easy and efficient, but when you add these to it, it becomes a beast. They work! I am on 300+ hrs and these 100% prolong the cleaning and the life of the unit. I also purchased the water filter ones so that I can alternate. Definitely one of my best purchases - my machine is not slimy or yellow. No gunk. No scaling. Easy to replace - you push it in, that is all. I want the mist in my home to be healthy and I feel much better about it with one of these in my machine. They are definitely worth purchasing and I will keep them stocked.

Bought these to go with our new DREO humidifier. We are on well water but also have 2 stage filter and use Brita filtered water. I wanted an extra layer of "clean". 1 week in and these cartridges seem to work very well - no residues and the mist smells very clean. We shall see how long they last. PRO-TIP: I've seen reviews stating these don't fit =- there is a small screen filter on the original unit - you have to remove that screen and these pop right in!

When I initially bought the dreo room humidifier it was mentioned that I could use a demineralization cartridge or a clean air one because I have soft water I went with the clean Air filter when I initially got the unit it had like a little lid {see pix} where the cartridges pops in the place it actually works better without these in my own opinion... My water is different I have soft water my room's different probably than most people I do recommend that you get these for safe measure but I don't know why you would want to sell a demineralization cartridge if it blows out white powder according to what others have said in their reviews that it blows white dust everywhere that did not happen to me because I did not pick the demineralization one I couldn't make no sense of it so I called the actual company but I purchased them off Amazon three days of using the filter my machine had orange gunk in it prior to that I could run it for days with no gunk using regular soft tap water & no filter now I don't know if I wasted my money or if I'm best just to put the little cap that it came with back on after I going to give these filters a second chance after a full clean of the unit because if it's a filter mold got to it quick... For me it ran better with jus the little cap that came with it you don't have to clean these cartridges but on the initial install I was told by the company when I registered with them to make sure you rinse them well before you put them in your machine So the ease of cleaning those was pretty easy the fit went very well jus pops in the unit itself is top shelf quality I run mine on level 3 to get the most of the humidity due to my lung issues it makes the temperature of my room a little bit cooler & much easier to breathe with lung conditions the humidity level the smart part of the machine the base unit lets me know by digital readout how the humidity level is fairing make sure to read the directions at the moment I can't tell you how long these filters last but I do remember it was a good amount of time I don't think I will buy these anymore I will come back to update if the orange mold keeps showing up then I may not use these ever again and just use the cap... I was cleaning it ever 3 days as it runs nonstop in my room so I don't know if these are good idea or not many consumers has stated in reviews on the unit that one cartridge of certain flavor/demineralization will put white residue all over the area my experience with these filters is after 3 days I had to tear it down which is no easy task & clean out the gunk so I'm not breathing that orange mold let alone the ick but if you have hard water it speaks & acts different as in said above 3 for $18 is not bad it's the same price thru dreo or dreo store on Amazon

This is not the first time I’ve bought these for my Dreo humidifier. There is a huge difference with and without them — I’ve noticed significantly less white dust on the furniture, and the water in the tank stays fresh much longer. Installation takes seconds; you just drop it in the tank and forget about it. The 3-pack is a great value and should last through the entire heating season. Highly recommend for anyone who cares about air quality.

Knowing that the tap water in my apartment is quite hard, I was eager to try the demineralization filter with my new Dreo. Unfortunately, the filter appears to make no difference in reducing/stopping the “white dust” issue when using tap water. Using distilled water completely eliminates the concern (with or without filter), which is the exact same result I found with any other humidifier I have used, so I feel I have a fair comparison. The difference is stark and immediate. With that, I’m taking the “filter is of no help” position here. Was hoping for at least some improvement to save the expense of buying distilled water all winter (or even trying a ‘half & half’ approach) but no dice. Disappointed.

Repeat buy for my house hold - I have two DERO hunidifiers in my home - love these filters - I live in a city with very hard water - so I like to pair these with Intake Calcium defense tablets - keeps my home from the horrid white file that normally comes out after I run any Humidifier. Easy to use and assemble - just rinse for 15-30 seconds and then press into place inside the water chambler - would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their humidifier in their home - I have had my DREO machines for 3 years and they are still going strong

Makes a huge difference with getting rid of the white buildup that my water seems to create. Make sure you get the demineralization one and not the purifying one.

Die Dreo Entmineralisierungskartuschen im 3er-Pack erfüllen ihren Zweck absolut zuverlässig. Seit ich sie in meinem Luftbefeuchter verwende, hat sich das Problem mit weißem Staub deutlich reduziert. Gerade bei hartem Wasser merkt man den Unterschied schnell. Die Kartuschen lassen sich unkompliziert einsetzen und passen perfekt in die kompatiblen Dreo-Modelle. Es tropft nichts, alles sitzt fest und funktioniert sofort ohne zusätzliche Einstellungen. Auch in Bezug auf Mineralablagerungen im Gerät selbst habe ich eine Verbesserung festgestellt. Der Luftbefeuchter bleibt sauberer und wirkt insgesamt wartungsärmer. Das 3er-Pack ist praktisch, da man direkt Ersatz auf Vorrat hat. Fazit: Sehr sinnvolle Ergänzung für Dreo Luftbefeuchter, besonders bei hartem Wasser. Reduziert weißen Staub deutlich und sorgt für saubere Befeuchtung. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Great filters making a visible change to using the humidifier! They remove the need to clean the device pretty much daily, which is an absolute relief! I’m still on the first one but I’m glad tracking the filter’s longevity in the app is a great convenience!

Nobody wants the scary mess that can happen in the base of your humidifier. These filters keep that to a minimum. I have been using the Humidifier for months now, often needing to refill it daily and the app shows the remaining % if the filter and at this point it indicates that I still have 48% left on my first filter.
