The bird houses are great! Wood is perfectly milled, cut and predrilled (even has countersunk holes for the screws) everything lines up perfectly for easy assembly and super sturdy. I appreciate the easy access to clean out the nests at the end of the year and the copper guard to keep out unwanted guests. I was skeptical initally the wood was cedar, as it looks like pine, but the old sniff test proved it is indeed cedar ( I believe it's white cedar) and not pine. Will buy more and hope they add some additional sizes for different types of birds!

Perfect size and dimensions for bluebirds, and so well constructed! The kit was SO easy and fun to put together, all the parts are smooth and fit perfectly. Clear instructions, quality materials. An extra screw included in case you drop one. Love the ventilation features, and the metal entrance guard keeps squirrels and predators OUT. The two latch pieces are pre-installed for you (yay!) and latch is very stylish and secure. 'Chef's kiss' nesting box!

Fantastic product! Very easy to put together in minutes. Very sturdy and well made. Even came with a screwdriver. Now bring on the birds!

Very good quality, fun/easy to assemble. Made of cedar; smells wonderful. Pre-countersunk holes and pilot holes for screws, so no wood splitting. Surfaces are sanded silky smooth. Screwdriver included. Latches perfectly. Here are a few tips: 1. As instructions say, all short screws are for birdhouse assembly (appears to be one extra); long screws are used for fastening birdhouse to a support. 2. Don't tighten screws until all of them are partially screwed into their countersunk holes and you have aligned surfaces. 3. For the backboard, make sure to have the top screw hole (for fastening to a support) at the top, not at the bottom. 4. There is no illustration for positioning the bottomboard, but there does seem to be a front/back. Door won't close completely flush if you have them switched. So test before you screw. 5. Make sure angled side of roof is against backboard. The only negative thing I can say is that one of the roof boards had a partially compromised knot in it; so that will affect its longevity if not sealed. For QC, I would suggest SisterBird make sure knotted wood is not used for roof boards. Other than that, highly recommend, and would buy again!

These bird houses are a very good buy. They go together pretty easily, and look terrific. I assembled the two bird houses and installed them on a couple different trees in my back yard that did not already have birdhouses on them. I don't think you will be disappointed buying these bird houses (and they are currently on sale).

Well made but don’t seem to be cedar. Maybe, it is a different variety of cedar from Asia. They were easy to put together and very attractive. We have many of these on our farm which means many bluebirds.

These are AWESOME!!! so well done and constructionist them was so simple with the precise screw holes, they even included extra screws and a screw drive! I recommend these!!! Mine will stay for many years as I glued all the seams when I put them together and stained and varathaned them to last the weather. I love the ease of cleaning them too!

These bird houses are fantastic. They are constructed beautifully and are super easy to assemble. Ever have issues with pre-drilled holes not aligning? Not with these you won't. In fact, they are a joy to put together. Of course, I can't yet speak to how durable they'll be, but since they are made of cedar, they should last a long time. I order four of them yesterday, received them this morning and put them all up this afternoon. And now I'm going to order two more. In short, a great product!

Excellent quality and a good price. It was very easy to assemble and looks far more expensive than it was. I'm very impressed with the door which is easy to secure and to open. Excellent product.
