MOCREO WiFi Refrigerator Thermometer Digital Freezer Alarm, Remote Email & App Alert, 2-Year Data Logging, No Subscription, 2 Smart Temperature Sensor for Fridge, Freezer, Hot Tub

I am an avid fish keeper and I breed L400 plecos. I purchased the MOCREO system to monitor our 4 aquariums. I purchased 4 units plus the LCD screen three months ago. The Sensors I find the sensors to be pretty accurate. I checked them against a certified food grade thermometer. The app allows you to offset the temperature and adjust this for accuracy. I adjusted one of them by 1 degree. I had one DOA sensor (it was actually the thermometer cable, not the sensor itself) and they replaced it next day. The thermometer cable plugs into the sensor and can be replaced. Otherwise, they were pretty easy to set up. Within the app you add a new sensor, and then hold down a button on the unit. Similar for the LCD display. The sensor units come with velcro and sticky backs so they were easy to hide somewhere behind the tank or inside the cabinet. I have had no issues with range despite hiding them within the cabinet and having some tanks in the basement. I haven't had to change a battery yet either. The Display I love the LCD display. I like talking about it and showing people as well. I'm a dork like that. The alarm is loud and very effective. So effective that if I am changing fish tanks, I'll just unplug it until I'm done. It connects to the wifi just like the sensors so it doesn't rely on your phone to work. The App The app is easy to use and integrates well with both the sensors and the LCD unit. It has live monitoring and history for each sensor. You can check temps and adjust settings from anywhere on your phone. You can receive push notifications and email alerts as well. Managing sensors is pretty easy. You can set up different rooms in the app but I didn't see a need to go through all of that. The service is free and I didn't have to pay anything. Real use scenario The weather turned cold this weekend, and the basement is about 65 to 68F. The 300w heater I had was struggling to keep up so I received alarms from the app and LCD display. I added a more robust heater and I can see in the app that it brought the tank up to temperature over 12 hours. It also shows that I need to adjust the heater by 1 degree. An event like this is exactly why I purchased this system. It also reminded me that I never left a review. Closing I really have nothing negative to say about this system. It has added great value to my aquariums. I would recommend it to any hobbyist. I fully intend to buy another sensor for the deep freezer in our garage too. U just keep forgetting. This monitor is of great quality and very easy to install, connect via Bluetooth and WiFi. Complete installation took only a few minutes. The refrigerator/freezer monitor works perfectly.

UPDATE: After initial install, things seemed to be OK, but the connections seem to be spotty. A sensor may go two days with no issues, then go off/online several times in a day. Each instance gets an alert on the phone and an email. The emails aren't too bad, but the phone going off numerous times is a pain. The "help" on the issue is to try and move the sensor/receiver closer to each other! With numerous sensors, this just introduces the error from one sensor to another. In other words, no help at all. There also appears to be no way to get JUST an email. I have turned off push alerts on all connected sensors, but still get alerts pushed to the phone. It would be good to be able to choose which problems get an alert. For instance, I'm more concerned with failure than connectivity, so to be able to select "Temperature alerts only" or select multiple alerts would be good. As it it, everything causes an alert. Still some work to do on connectivity and messaging. ORIGINAL: These appear to be exactly what I wanted! We have two dwellings on our property, and one is currently empty, except for a small freezer full of beef. I needed a way to keep tabs on the freezer without having to constantly check on it. The installation was fast and painless, the app appears to work well, sending an alert when the temperature threshold was exceeded - alarm from the app and an email. I don't know what else you could expect. If my experience changes, I'll update, but at this point I have only good things to say!

I bought these for my home and vacation home. I have them plugged into a timer of just a few minutes a week and the battery has stayed at 100%. So far they have lasted over 1 year (with no maintenance) and I HAVE PEACE OF MIND knowing that my refrigerators and freezers have not failed. Serious damage could happen while I'm away and these things work wonderfully!! Who knew?? They let you know when the temp is too high and when it lowers back to a normal range. Easy to set up with the app, monitor and forget worrying that your home is being destroyed with water damage!

My freezer is in my basement. This device gives me piece of mind. Easy setup and sends a daily report of temperature activity to my email. With today's co$t of perishables, you need this device. Recommend.

Twice the door to our freezer was left open. Twice we have lost all the food in the freezer so it was time to stop the madness. Purchased this product and so far has worked well for us. Got an email and text notice when testing the unit after setting the alarm parameters. This will save us lots of money because we all know that food is not cheap and now it won't spoil and have to be thrown out.

I had a little trouble activating a second sensor. It turns out it was because I failed to follow the simple instructions. A phone call to MOCREO was all it took. Their monitoring is fabulous. I get notifications if my WiFi drops out. I am thrilled with this purchase.

Does not work in UK - suggest you do not buy if you wnat to plug into UK type plug.

Un peu frileux au départ, car 1 seule evaluation négative francaise....mais bon j ai franchis le pas et je suis très satisfait de cet appareil . Température cohérentes en celsius de mes 2 congélateurs . Manuel en anglais, mais paramétrage très facile grace à l'application Mocreo Sensor elle aussi en anglais mais rien de rédhibitoire Petit bémol : il faut acheter une prise franco /anglaise pour pouvoir brancher l'appareil Je recommande !
