Beautiful. Pricey, but beautiful.
A very attractive, high quality diffuser that comes beautifully boxed (great for gifting). So far, I’ve had zero issues with the app, and I like that I can just turn it on and off on the actual diffuser itself and not even have to use the app unless I want to create a schedule. You also have a few lighting choices (warm (orange-ish) glow- see my photos), cool white, blue, or you can set it to flow thru lighting options). The piece itself has a bit of heft to it- it feels solid and looks expensive…. because it is! My goodness ! I try not to factor price into a review, but it’s just so hard not to with this. More about that in a second- This disperses scent beautifully and perfectly— I’ve had just about every high-end, name brand waterless diffuser you can think of (one costing over $600🫣) and this Aromatech beats them all, hands down. It has just enough versatility to be fun but yet extremely simple to use. I like the timer ability thru the app. We’re currently using Santal, but because it’s a really ‘heavy’ scent, I set this diffuser to run at night. That way, when we wake up in the morning, it’s just turned itself off and the scent subtly lingers thru the entire space all day. It’s a perfect compromise if you’ve tried fragrance oils that you love but are just too strong. Back to cost- I did receive this thru the Amazon Vine program however, I was charged $63.36 in collected taxes (so not exactly free). I encourage anyone interested in going down this rabbit hole of home fragrance diffusion to do your homework. After all, you and your family will be breathing these oil in… make sure they’re safe. I decided to do a deep dive into this ChatGPT AND CoPilot, and both came back with Aromatech being the safest brand of them all, even the other name brand competitors. This put me off at first once I started looking into the price of their oils (😳) - they are SO EXPENSIVE!!! They also have so many choices that it’s almost mind numbing. After experimenting with hotel fragrance oils for 2+ years now I have come to realize that the oil quality is far more important than the diffuser… but the Aromatech diffusers disperse the Aromatech oils better than other diffuser brands… the diffusers emit just the right amount of scent and disperse it so that it envelops the entire space, not just to a pint that you have ‘hot spots’ (super strong scent in just a few specific areas that is almost overwhelming). You want the fragrance to be subtly in the background, not smack you on the face when you walk around to certain areas. Yes, there are cheaper options. And yes, this brand is a budget buster for sure, but as someone who is fairly health conscious when it comes to what my family (pets included) are breathing in, I have just given in to the fact that if I want the high quality scent and diffusion WITH all of the transparent safety data that goes with it, then it’s just going to have to find a place in the budget. The good news is that the really large bottle (16oz) will last about 8-10 months, using 2 diffusers (one upstairs, one downstairs) and running them through the night. Most important take away… RESEARCH! This brand comes out on top, hands down, on every AI research site I’ve tried. This is a BEAUTIFUL diffuser that almost looks like a form of art, that is simple to use and extremely versatile in style and use options. This would make a phenomenal gift, as the boxed presentation is excellent.

Love the AromaTech diffusers, very luxury, but pricey
I have two other AromaTech diffusers and really like them. Both are waterless diffusers but one is aluminum and features a Nebulizing Cold Air Diffusion System. My other one is like this one, made from resin and waterless but it’s actually the mini and this one looks like the full size version. The mini only covers 600 sq ft, but this one says 1000. My aluminum one is bigger than this one and can cover 1500 sq ft. I have the aluminum one in my living room, the mini in a separate hangout space and I will probably put this one in my room or bathroom. Just like the others, it connects via the AromaTech app, but you can use the buttons on the actually diffuser to operate it. There are only 2 so you are limited on what you can do without using the app. In the app, you can customize times, create a schedule, change the color of the diffuser and the intensity of the essential oil. It’s really nice, but I will say, the essential oils are quite pricey… I have gotten their 2 fl oz aroma oil in The Hotel scent and it was $69 for the bottle. For a 4 fl oz bottle it’s $129 and 16 fl oz is $289 so be prepared to spend a hefty amount if you want to get essential oils from the brand to go with the diffuser, and some scents are not available in the smaller bottles. The scents smell good for sure but they are pricey!! I like the diffusers a lot, especially my aluminum one. They definitely feel luxury, and have luxury prices to match. I do have another waterless diffuser from a different brand that is like my aluminum one from this brand (both use apps as well) and it was cheaper and came with a huge essential oil bottle, and the scents are not nearly as pricey as AromaTechs. If you want a cheaper option there are others out there, BUT these diffusers are really nice with yummy scents (especially the holiday and pumpkin one) and the app makes it easy to personalize your experience.

Nice, but...
This diffuser works well. I do like the waterless type, but I have two others that take up less space, are wireless so I can literally place them anywhere, work just as well, and cost about 1/6 the price of this one. So it's hard to justify the price. In fact, when I ordered this I didn't realize I was going to have to plug it in, that really limited my placement choices. According to their online info I am supposed to only be using their scent oils, however, their stuff is largely artificial scents, which I won't use. I am using my own genuine essential oils in mine, so far I haven't had any issues doing that, but it's only been a few days. I like that I can manually turn on/off the unit, and the light feature, on the device, but I don't like how limited that is. On the unit it's on or off - there are no other choices. In order to be able to choose the strength, the amount of run time, the time I want it to come on/off... I HAVE to use their app. In order for the app to follow any schedules I set up I HAVE to have Bluetooth turned on. Since I don't usually have Bluetooth on all of the time I don't like that feature. However, I dutifully loaded their app, set up a couple of schedules, left my Bluetooth on, and waited to see what would happen. Actually, the first strange thing I noticed is that I can't get it to 'pair' with my Bluetooth - but it still seems to more or less work as long as Bluetooth is turned on. Ok, so, I set up a schedule for a certain time frame, I selected that I wanted certain light features, and I set up strength etc. Well, it does come on at the time I selected, however, the lights didn't come on. I have played around with this and I can't get the app schedule to also turn on the lights automatically. I have to manually turn on lights from the app or on the device and have the lights on all day or only the aroma works. The aroma does spread pretty well over a few rooms even during the hour I have it set for twice a day. It is not even though. It is definitely quite strong in the area of the diffuser and weaker away from that. I have an open floor plan and that still happens. When the aroma is puffing out I can hear a quiet hum. It goes for a few to 6 seconds and stops until the next interval. Overall, it's very quiet. The appearance of the diffuser is just ok to me. My other waterless ones are metal and my regular style of diffusers are ceramic. I guess it's hard to get used to what is obviously plastic now. Personally, I wouldn't purchase this again. I don't feel it's as intuitive as my others, as attractive as my others, as versatile as my others. I find this to be incredibly expensive for what it is and how it works/doesn't work.

Do not waste your money!
I paid over $300 for one of their larger diffuser units, and after only about a year and a half it began shutting itself off within seconds. I followed every troubleshooting step, sent videos, photos, and multiple emails, only to be told my warranty had expired and offered 20% off another purchase. What made it worse was customer service repeatedly misidentifying my unit during the process, which made the entire experience feel careless and dismissive. For a product at this price point, the quality does not match, and the company clearly does not stand behind what they sell. I now have all correspondence in writing, and based on both the product and how this was handled, I strongly recommend choosing another brand

Good scent quality, but the app is a requirement
The AromaTech Ambience Mini is a solid, well-built diffuser that looks much better on a shelf than the typical plastic options. The built-in lighting is a great touch and really helps set the mood in the room. The scent output is consistent and the nebulizing tech is definitely effective for smaller spaces. However, the user experience is a bit tethered to the app; there are no physical buttons on the unit to adjust intensity, and you can’t actually change the output level unless you are setting up a specific schedule. It’s also worth noting that the 60ml capacity is somewhat small if you prefer not to refill it frequently. It works well once it’s dialed in, but a bit more manual flexibility would make it much more practical.

Great gift idea
Great way to make a space feel more upscale and inviting. I like that it is waterless, so it is easy to use and does not create any mess. The charcoal design looks sleek and modern, and it blends in nicely with home decor. The Bluetooth feature is convenient for adjusting settings, and the scent coverage is impressive without being overwhelming. It works well for a living room, bathroom, office, spa-like setup, or boutique-style space. Very relaxing and great ambient light colors. Great value for money.
