This is my second order of these Panasonic AA batteries, which are used in a circular 14" wall clock, and are usuallly ready to be changed during each Daylight Savings time change. So they last a good length of time, are easy to install, the price is reasonable, and have had no problem with leakage. A very good buy.

These batteries are preferred for wall clocks, My only concern is that I could not see a date on the batteries or the packaging, and since these have a shorter shelf life than alkaline, that is a concern to know how long they have been sitting on the shelf.

I never write reviews, but I was pretty amazed (aka disappointed) by how consistently short-lived these batteries are. I use an apple mouse that takes two AA batteries, and since this is the only battery appliance I use regularly, I just buy a relatively small pack of whatever reasonably cheap name-ish brand battery I can find on here a couple times a year (amazon, acdelco, voniko, etc). Across the random brands I've used in my apple mouse, batteries usually last 1-2.5 months before I need to replace them, and I thus expected the same from these Panasonic batteries. Nope! I kept track & these Panasonic batteries died literally every 15-18 days. So I used up all 8 of these Panasonic batteries within the past two months since I got them, which is the same amount of time that I usually would only use up 2 batteries from some other random brand. They weren't expired either, so idk why these batteries are a flop, but save yourself the wasted money & batteries and just go with another option lol

Don't hesitate if your clock needs carbon zinc batteries. These will prevent malfunctions like losing time.
