Battery Type Required by some new clocks
Bought for a new clock that requires carbon/zinc batteries. Too soon to say as to battery life; clock is working properly and keeping time.

This is my second order of these Panasonic AA batteries, which are used in a circular 14" wall clock, and are usuallly ready to be changed during each Daylight Savings time change. So they last a good length of time, are easy to install, the price is reasonable, and have had no problem with leakage. A very good buy.

Used for a clock
These batteries are preferred for wall clocks, My only concern is that I could not see a date on the batteries or the packaging, and since these have a shorter shelf life than alkaline, that is a concern to know how long they have been sitting on the shelf.

These carbon zinc batteries work great in my wall clock.
I bought a new large wall clock for the family room. The instructions recommended not to use Alkaline batteries as they would shorten the life of the battery powered clock's motor. The manufacturer recommended the old fashioned carbon zinc batteries for longer clock motor life. Carbon Zinc batteries are not easy to find anymore, so when I saw the 16 pack on Amazon, I ordered them immediately. These batteries work perfectly, and in my clock, they last about 2 - 3 months before replacement is needed. I would buy these again.
