The denim is thick and keeps my clothes free from oil spatters and stains. I love that the waist tie is long enough to wrap around and tie in the front. My hand towel hangs from my waist. I appreciate the pockets! Not all aprons come with pockets and I don't know why not. I've got cutesy aprons that are pretty, but for serious, heavy-duty cooking and baking, this is my favorite.
