This static vent work great. The three louvers are light weight and open accordingly as you turn on an exhaust fan. I shielded the vent with a protective cover to keep blowing rain out. Installation is easy. I did add a small strip of weatherstripping to aid in the seal to the structure. It is a little pricy but overall, a great value.

I saw few negative comments about this product. Honestly this is well made product and shipped carefully packaged. I believe that the blue color is to prevent annoying reflections and to protect aluminum from corrosion damage. I like this product and recommend it.

This works awesome. I have it on the backside of my greenhouse facing in words. The exhaust fan on the opposite end has enough power to pull the air through this without a problem. I installed the screen on the outside to prevent unwanted insects from entering

Great, BUT... The vanes come with blue plastic protective film on the front. It is a PAIN to peel off and took at least 15 minutes and they acetone to remove the remaining adhesive. Great vent, but there is no reason the mfr should leave the plastic on. WAY easier for them to remove, like they did the back side. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

It’s very well made and protected in shipment. Protective film took some time to get off. A solid vent cover.

If you need to move some air this will do it. We installed in a sun room we built to move heat out of a vaulted ceiling, and it really does the job. We do need to put a regulator on it because it runs full blast and can be rather noisy. Anyway you won't go wrong with this purchase.

These shutters are constantly rattling in the wind. There is no way to latch them close or prop them open.

A little small I should have ordered bigger .
