This hook can’t be compared to the original KitchenAid dough hook. Of course, the KitchenAid is so much better. But given its price, it’s not bad — it does the job. Just take note of the length. It’s quite short for a dough hook, so while operating, it just twirls round and round. 😂 That said, I haven’t used it for longer than five minutes at a time. I bought it to bake sourdough bread but I’ve only used it twice to make Sally’s sandwich bread.

Perfection! I have never used dough hooks in a mixer before and these were great! This fit my handheld KitchenAid mixer well (since I can't afford the big stand mixer lol). It mixed the dough well enough to where I could get the dough out of the bowl to finish kneading.

Garbage. Does not fit hand mixers.
