Just received these Domino bits. They look like they will do the job. However, the largest bit was chipped. The damage is not in an area that will affect the cut; but with that said, a new product should not be damaged out of the box.

Is it a necessary purchase. No. Not at all. Will you save money? Given enough time. Yes. If you buy whatever dominos off Amazon you can save money But these work and you buy them for two reasons. You have scrap you want to use for something. And or, you build stuff and don’t live near a place that sells dominos. Because there’s a good chance if you use loose tenons, eventually, you over estimate how many you have and suddenly need anywhere between 1 to 100 more right away to finish something. Ordering would take a day. Or a store visit would take an extra hour or three of time. So these are great because you grab a piece of scrap and make a couple to keep working. I have a jar that I fill when I randomly have scrap for it. Do I need all the sizes. Nope. Will I ever use them. Nope. But it comes as a package and why not get them.
