The 'stool' looks like it is sized for a 1-2 year old child, and sits VERY low to the ground. For an adult, I do not see this as a practical item, especially a large adult! As for the storage capability of the bag, and being able to create the compartments, as you need, the bag is great. I can easily carry multiple lens, and have my camera assessable through the small opening. My tripod fits easily into the area for holding it, making it easy to carry. My previous bag was half this size, and I did not have to take the bag off to get to my equipment. With this 'backpack', I have to remove the backpack to get to the equipment. With this, I have already decided that when I only need the big telephoto lens, I will still use my smaller camera bag, which will only allow me to carry the large telephoto lens and the camera. I then will not have to remove the bag to get to my camera/lens/tripod. I will only use the large bag, this backpack, when I have to carry multiple lens, for different types of photo settings. I will say this, if I had known about the miniature stool, I would have ordered the bag without the stool and not paid that extra money. I have the bag now, so I won't return it, just to order the next bag down, without the stool. I took a star away, due to that ridiculously sized stool.
