Nose: Rich and pungent with bold funk—a mix of overripe banana, pineapple, citrus zest, grassy ester notes, and a hint of molasses. Palate: Starts dry, grassy, and slightly bitter, with layers of tropical fruit (banana, coconut, pineapple), molasses, then vanilla and spice. Finish: Long, fiery, and dry, fading into lingering fruit and a gentle burn

Be warned. It’s 60 proof. Great for cakes. Great with mixers.

First time I had tried this beverage. Heard so much about it being 63% but surprisingly with coke and ice its very palatable. Different taste from Black Bat Bacardi but certainly not unpleasent. Give it a try if u dont like it. I'm sure someone you know will. I drink this with a 25cl measure, small is good !!!

Not really a white rum man in the slightest, so take this as the word of an "outsider" as this was purchased as a gift. Whoa! This really does have a kick to it. Yes, I know it's north of 60% but even then it takes a lot of diluting to the point where it doesn't pop your eyes. I can drink Southern Comfort 100% Proof (50% volume) neat, but this is borderline dangerous and the restricter in the bottle neck probably is a safety feature to stop people from taking a big swig straight from the bottle. The nose is typical white rum petrochemical, as is the first taste, but this is swiftly followed by rubber, with a finish of smokey bananas and it certainly offers more complexity than other rums I've tried. I wouldn't place it up against a good whisky in the complex flavours stakes but it's quite different to the cheap lighter fluid and that's yer lot of Bacardi. Would I recommend it? Well certainly I wouldn't buy it for myself, but if you think Bacardi makes for a good mixer then I'd definitely say give this one a try as it's a much more interesting drop and it's not priced too highly for what is a slightly more niche product. Just exercise caution if you're not used to VERY strong alcohol.

Dieser Rum hat nicht nur viele Prozente sondern auch den typischen Rumgeschmack. Klare Empfehlung. Leider hier im DE sehr teuer. Kenne das Produkt aus Jamaika, dort kostete die Literflasche im Duty Free 12 Dollar.
