Pendaflex Portable Desktop File, Document Holder for Home and Office, Plastic Organizer Box, Side Handles, Hanging File Folders, Tabs & Inserts, Letter Size, 9-1/2 x 12-3/16 x 6 Inches, Black (23013)

I really like these desktop file bins for organizing my hanging files. Whenever I tried the bar-type contraptions for converting a file drawer to use hanging files, they would end up bending and warping. These bins work much better to support the hanging files! They are the perfect size and make organizing file drawers a breeze. I can take them in and out of the drawer easily if I just want to work on one section of my filing at a time – and sit at my desk as I work instead of standing and standing (and standing some more!) in front of the file cabinet. They don't fit in my file drawer with the long side facing frontward. I have to put them in sideways: I can fit four of them in each drawer that way. It bothered me until I discovered a hidden advantage! It's much easier to access a file drawer from the side then it is from the front. I always drop a book or a pack of labels or something between the two bins in the front and the two bins in the back to keep about half an inch or so of space between them. Otherwise the hanging files tend to get hooked onto the wrong bins, which makes it hard to get either a bin or an individual file out of the drawer. I usually purchase these bins one or two at a time, as I make progress on my filing project. I also keep a bin on my desk for active projects and handling mail, a couple of bins with my cookbooks to hold recipe pamphlets, and a bunch more that I stand up on end on my bookshelves to hold current magazines, pocket folders, thin craft-work books, and so on. I have recommended them to family members who use them and have also given them as gifts to friends. Although I will be buying my own hanging folders (I would like them to be colorful, not just color-coded) the bins did come with hanging folders to get me started. These fit the bill in so many ways!

These units are great! They are thick plastic, sturdy, easy to handle, work very well with hanging files and file folders. Had purchased a lower priced item but returned those and bought these instead. I have now purchased 8 of these units, for myself and a family member. Based on the quality, I expect these will last for years. Am very happy with this product. Was well worth the additional cost.

I've purchased this item numerous times. Very handy size and excellent pricing. Good quality, sturdy.

works great

I’m really happy with my order. The quality is better than I expected — sturdy, well-made, and perfect for organizing my documents. It looks clean and professional, and the size is just right for everyday use. Definitely a great purchase and I would buy it again!

I ordered this desktop file box after purchasing a few other types. This one is, by far, the best, and is the one that I exclusively use on my desk.

I purchased two of these file folders for use at my house. They arrived together in a big box. Both came with five of the panda flex hanging folders. That was a nice touch, I immediately put those to use. They do come as one solid piece. No assembly or anything.Between the two of them they fit everything I had in my [old] desk file drawer with room to spare. There size easily lets them fit into our closet cabinet where they will now be stored. They are built very durable. I have had no issues pulling them out and moving them to my desk when I need to get in them, then back to the closet. The design of them also makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Another benefit of these particular file holders is they have a solid bottom. So if something does fall out or through, it won’t be lost on the floor forever. It is just in the bottom of the folder.I have plans to use these for a long long time. My wife even liked them when she saw them. I wouldn’t be surprised if we are ordering more of these in the future.

This totally works for my 8 year old. I make sure weekly spelling flash cards are updated every week and I've got a white board which he has to have for math zooms and his dry erase markers in a plastic pool wine glass. Ge loves it because usually his teacher has to wait becausealmost none of the kids are prepared with white boards and dry erase markers...I actually purchased this for me and I'm going to order just the plastic bin for me. I might order two. For $20 bucks you get a nice sturdy compartment to keep everything organized and way more than enough manilla folders but I will probably find my green hanging folders elsewhere because I think I need triple the amount that's provided the $20 bundle. Still not bad. I love this set up for my 2nd grader!

Very helpful

Es funcional mucha capacidad y se ve bien con todas las decoraciones.

Não gostei. Tamanho pequeno, frágil e as fichas ficam desmontando.

Why on earth? These would be perfect but for some reason not displayed in photo the manufacturer decided to create a slice through the middle of the holder above both handles. This results in a gap that the sliding folders catch and fall into. I can discern a reason for this design as it makes no sense.

Perfect!
