Great consistency and wonderful taste and mouth feel, this might be my favorite organic dark chocolate - never disappointed!

These bars from online chocolate brand "Tcho" are perfectly pleasant but not very special medium-dark chocolate. Within a very design-y outer cardboard case that absolutely screams "Instagram brand," the bars come in totally unlabeled, sealed wrappers; each bar breaks into three squares, and indeed some were, uh, pre-broken when I received them. The copy on the box speaks of "truffle filling," but there is no filling (nor is there a "shell," as mentioned elsewhere); the texture of the hard chocolate is perfectly homogeneous from top to bottom. It's just chocolate, nothing else, so I'm not sure what all the language about filling and shell is about; perhaps it's a manufacturing problem — or else, judging by the rest of the packaging, this brand makes very free with their elaborate and silly descriptions, so maybe "truffle filling" was just the copywriter getting carried away imagining what it might be like to have a different kind of candy bar rather than the one they actually made. (Similarly, their "tasting notes" on the chocolate are rather funny — oh, the chocolate tastes like "brownies," eh? you don't say — but I guess no one expects wine-tasting language to make that much sense, as compared with an actual description of the product.) Anyhow, the flavor is fine, but in no way special for a premium chocolate. The bars are fairly light and chew like they have a significant amount of oil mixed in, the flavor is a solid medium in bitterness and richness as you might expect from a 75% dark chocolate, and it's a fine small chocolate to have as a treat. I don't really find it competitive with the higher-tier Lindt or Green & Black dark chocolate bars that I prefer, and I probably wouldn't reorder it, but it's basically fine for what it is.

Really good chocolate but pricey

So in the pack, are three brown boxes, Giftable boxes of TCHO Chocolate Bars. I don’t know what i expected, but with Fudge being in the name, i kind of thought, it would be fudgy, and these are more chocolatey than fudgy. Each box contains 3 packages, and in each package is 3 squares of what appears to be, filled chocolate squares. I expected there to be a ganache of some kind within the square. Now I’m not sure whether it’s to do with the temperature up here (In AK) but it’s cold, and there was no appreciable difference between the filling, and the shell, in my opinion. Maybe in warmer climates, the ganache is softer and fudgier, but we were not able to discern fudge. I also don’t get a brownie flavour. To me, it just tastes like decent dark chocolate. It’s nice, not extremely bitter like some I’ve had, though i do like that too. Very edible in fact. These boxes would make a nice small Gift for someone. I like that it’s Fair Trade, Organic, Non-Dairy, SIngle Origin and all that jazz, and it genuinely does taste good. And it’s the Festive Season, and i just like to have loads of chocolate and other goodies lying around at this time. I would probably get these again.

This box of chocolate was a gift. When they opened it all had obviously been melted preciously. Very disappointed!

This is a 10-pack of chocolate bars. However, this candy comes packed as 3 individually wrapped bars per pack. I like this. I can save some for later without risking it getting stale. And more importantly, keeps me from eating the entire 2.5 ounce package in one sitting... which I would definitely be tempted to do, it's that good. Also, good for sharing without needing to break apart the pieces. I loved the flavor of this chocolate. It is a smooth dark chocolate with a rich center. It tastes like a fudge brownie. Dark chocolate but not bitter. Just wonderful. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

I bought this not noticing that it was vegan, I’m not vegan but also not opposed to chocolates that don’t contain dairy. I was just looking for a good snacking chocolate. The allure of a truffle-like inside and the “notes of crisp brownie edges drew me in, but none of that exists in these chocolates. They are slightly creamier on the inside than the outer shell, but you can barely notice a difference in texture. I was disappointed as I didn’t get much of the fruity flavorful chocolate notes I can usually expect from a high quality dark chocolate. I don’t like milk chocolate at all, but this Holy Fudge seemed to be lacking in flavor and quality for the price. Maybe the other flavors taste better but I am a big fan of simply yet rich and complex high quality chocolate with little or no add-ins.
