With a single decision, Olivia Germaineโs fantasy has become a reality. Now, sheโs faced with two commitments - one she must make, and one she must break. But in order to accept a love she never thought possible, Olivia will have to let go of the broken past that defines her...and of deeply rooted fears that could ruin everything. Everything is what David Dylan wants to give her, and itโs what he demands in return. Heโll do anything to prove to Olivia that despite his playboy ways, heโs worth leaving behind the stable future her husband can offer her. But even though heโs a man who always gets what he wants...this time, David may be fighting for something unattainable. Review: You cannot miss the Cityscape Series! - I do not know where to begin. Jessica Hawkins blew my mind with her amazing writing. She is now definitely my #1 author (along side another favorite of mine). Brilliantly written, emotional scenes that make you feel the characters David & Olivia, hot hot scenes (well spaced I may add) and a story that makes you want them together (even though we all are against cheating). Jessica had the courage and confidence to bring about a different side of cheating where it's all about meeting the one you are truly supposed to be with and this is something never discussed about. David Dylan is all you could imagine in a man, he is controlling, romantic, honest, loving and possessive (I need to make my husband know about this man I love :) and Olivia seems to have met her perfect man. The love, the attraction and the passion between them is intense. Without giving too much away, there was one scene towards the end of the book which shook up Olivia and made her think hard about her decision and so happy that David did that, he had the courage and went with his gut as always. Want to say this again but Jessica has written in a way that has you not missing out on a single word or page with her amazing writing and realistic storyline. Beautiful story and I would definitely read this over and over again. Of all the 3 books in the Cityscape Series, Come Together outdid all and was the perfect ending. I was truly sad that the series ended. Jessica, very well done and for a new author you were brilliant! We hope to see these characters come up again in a future book, maybe David and Olivia finally having a family of their own and Gretchen and Brian's story as well. A word of advice to all readers out there (especially those who are big fans of 50 Shades of grey, The Stark Trilogy or The Crossfire Series) you will love it that I suggested this series because you are going to love this one more than those. Review: Good ending! Once again, realistic - I had to read this book to find out what happened! I was drawn into the storyline because of how REAL this story is. I loved the way these characters- Olivia and David struggled with the repercussions of their actions and they struggled separately as well as together. I enjoyed David's persistence to not let Olivia go.. And Olivia's persistence to at least fight before letting go.. I'm not living in a fantasy guys.. I'm on my second marriage and all I will say is one marriage was "safe" and one was extremely passionate and volatile.. So I can see BOTH POV's of this story. I admired Gretchen and was sad about Lucy but I know if this book were to fast forward a few years then Lucy may be back in the picture maybe not the same but back nonetheless.. Gretchen's story would be interesting to read but thanks to the epilogue we got the gist of her story! ;-) All in all- sex scenes- outrageous (I was at work squirming), romance- it was definitely an Awe all the way throughout.. Not too mushy not too over the top.. Just right.. Chemistry between characters- yes I felt it all! Ending- HEA I enjoyed it completely.. Good series! You've got a new fan Ms. Hawkins!

Perfect conclusion to this emotional, and sizzling romance!
What a perfect conclusion to this emotional, and sizzling romance! I couldn't wait to find out what happened after the way book #2 ended and I was not disappointed! This wasn't an easy journey for anyone. Olivia had to learn to trust in a man who was the biggest risk to her heart and her sanity while leaving her safe world behind. It could cost her everything, including family and friends. David had to fight to get Olivia to give him her everything, while proving he was more than his past. But when a relationship starts the way theirs did, will they be able to build something strong to last forever? I loved the way their relationship stumbled and grew. The way that Olivia blossomed and came alive was so beautiful. David was so thoughtful, protective, deliciously dominant, and totally swoony! I love how Ms Hawkins didn't cut corners with their story, but allowed us to feel every thought, and emotion that Olivia, and David experienced. Her writing is so beautiful, and moving, and the banter and levity between her characters makes them feel genuine and easy to relate to. I wasn't sure I would, but I loved everything about this captivating and sizzling story of hope, second chances, forgiveness and unconditional love.

I Love Me Some David Dylan!!!
The journey that Jessica Hawkins takes us on with Olivia and David has been beyond AMAZING!! Keeping readers interested and engaged is not an easy task, but she does so by providing us with excellent character depth/development, emotional intensity, flow and cohesiveness. As I mentioned in my previous reviews, I was completely captivated, engrossed and thoroughly lost in Olivia and David's story, I couldn't even think straight or move on after reading the series. You would think that once Liv made up her mind and chose David at the end of "Come Alive," everything would be easy peasy, right?!? WRONG! "Come Together" is just as emotionally draining as the first two books! LOL!! The constant doubt, distrust and uncertainty Liv had towards David was so freakin annoying! This man would do just about anything for you -- he bought you a damn house dammit!! (GEEZ) I fell even more head over heels for David in this book -- he's the epitome of a PERFECT Alpha. He's sexy, confident, strong and nothing short of a saint since he was willing to put up with Liv's B.S. tendencies and antics. Now don't get me wrong...I very much wanted Liv and David to be together, but her drama queen behavior got on my damn nerves!! One minute she's hot and next second she's cold!! So FRUSTRATING!! My heart just about melted when David stated the following, "I would kill for you. I would die for you You are my everything. If you don't want children, then we won't have them. And if you change your mind, that's fine too. Just know that nothing can keep me away." "If it's you and me for the rest of our lives, well, I can't really complain about that." Now, if Olivia didn't get her shit together at that point, I was gonna have to come after her!! Lucky for her, she did! LOL!! The series ended just as it should have...with Olivia's and David's HEA. Jessica did a phenomenal job and I can't wait to see more of her work! If you haven't read the series, I urge you to do so ASAP! The series is AMAZEBALLS!!!!

Total series hangover!
This was one of those series that I couldn't put down and now have to give myself some time before starting a new book. It was so good! One of the most angsty, steamy, and thought-provoking series I've read to date.

DISAPPOINTING.............SPOILER................
I liked the story. I loved David of course, who wonโt. Bit of a temper but everyone has some temper at one point or another. That being said here goesโฆ.. Woman settles for a guy she deep down knows is not THE ONE but marries him anyway. Always questions things in or about their marriage. She sees a guy she just canโt take her eyes off of as well as he feels the same about her. They meet, talk and have great sex and then things go all to hell. She is going nuts because she realizes what she settled for. She tells her husband finally. He is an idiot to begin with. He thinks time will change Olivia. Wanting what he wants. Great job, a loving wife, home and a family, only she does not want the same things. Bill was a bit anal. That is putting it mildly. Never asking anything about Oliviaโs past. If she said she did not want to talk about it they just did not talk about it. Not a very good husband in my opinion. It was either his way or nothing at all. So finally she leaves her husband ends up with David and starts this so called future. Times goes by and things happen with the divorce and things move along. All the while Olivia constantly questions if she is doing the right thing by leaving Bill and loving David. It got to be a little bit too much. Going back and forth do I love him or do I really love Bill or do I really love David. Back and forth, back and forth do I or donโt I. (Why David would want to be with a woman like that is beyond me). That being said things start to come to an end and Olivia I think becomes a little selfish. David gives Olivia anything and everything any woman could ask for. But she does not think she is worthy. Buys her a home she is in love with, is willing to pay for her divorce, and treats her like a queen. All he wants is to be with her and give her everything he possible can. Tells her she needs to start writing stories again. Tells her he loves her and wants her to quite work and travel with him and write again. He ask her to marry him. Of course she does not answer or tells him no she canโt . Blah Blah Blah. She then tells him that she does not want children. Never has and never will. This is where I think she becomes selfish. Knowing all that is all this poor man is looking forward to a future with her. But she lets him fall in love with her and her fall in love with him before she even thinks about telling him. Now I know not all women are cut out to be mothers, but why would you do that to a man knowing he does want kids and would be a great father then throw that bomb on him. Why would you not want to give someone you love as much as she says she does and would give him anything in the world but not a child? Something that is a part of two loving people? Like I said I liked to story and the characters but I was disappointed. I would have liked a HEA. A dog does not make a HEA. Now if the author wrote another story continuing the story of David and Olivia, but having a true HEA that would be great. Would I recommend this book? ?????? not sure. Would I read it again? ?????? not really. Like I said DISAPPOINTING.

There's No Easy Way to Fall Out of Love
Whew...finally finished the "Come" Trilogy and I must say, it was a fantastic emotional roller coaster. Jessica Hawkins succinctly captured the desperation, angst, confusion and complexity involved with a romantic/sexual entanglement outside of one's marriage. Hawkins took it even further by detailing a scenario in which one pursues their soul mate even though it turns out said soul mate is not their spouse. (Spoiler alert) When I read book 1 I was rather perturbed with Olivia's inability to simply *commit to a decision.* Pick Bill and make it work or pick David and leave Bill behind. Of course she dragged out the decision and hurt both her love interests unnecessarily. Olivia kept doubting her decision to be with David even after she had left her husband. This just added to the complexity of choosing to leave your husband for the man you cheated with. I do not condone infidelity however, I do condone being happy. I only wish there was a less sloppy way for Olivia to have ensured her happiness. If only Olivia would not have took vows and committed to a man she truly was not in love with (Bill). Or maybe if she had pursued counseling when she realized that her marriage was failing. Or if she had tried a trial separation before jumping into things with David. If only she'd insisted that David not be involved in her and Bill's quest for a house. If only there was a less messy way to pursue your happiness without the emotional fallout. Then again I think that's the message of the trilogy - there is no nice and tidy way to fall out of love. In the end, breaking vows, emotionally/physically cheating, and coming to grips that you 'settled' for someone, leads to devastating emotional fallout and life-altering consequences. It reeked of reckless juvenile immaturity a la Dawson's Creek, but I ate up every gut-wrenching scenario. OLIVIA. Her immaturity, or simple inability to recognize her dysfunctional marriage, left me wondering if she was truly an adult. I honestly didn't see why David pursued her so relentlessly - there wasn't anything unique about her. I was a bit annoyed with Olivia's pushover-ness. She even questions her unwavering desperate devotion to be with David - "Was there anything I wouldn't do, wouldn't give up for him?" I thought that Olivia was a lost and distraught child. She was lost before she even married Bill. And she just became incapable of controlling her own life. Olivia became a backseat passenger as her life passed her by and people made decisions for her. I wished for a stronger more relatable female lead but...c'est le vie. DAVID. Alpha-male? Spoiled brat? Domineering and aggressive? Yes to all of the above. My only qualm with David was that he just kept pushing!! Olivia seemed to be rational in not wanting to rush their relationship or become solely dependent on him financially, but he left no room for any compromise. My feminist side was screaming in protest as Olivia caved time after time to David's aggressive and over-protective behavior. There were many displays of violence and total domination that concerned me. BILL. Damn damn damn. The way the story was written it was hard to tell if Bill was the bad guy or the good guy. He could be considered the bad guy because he really didn't care to know Olivia or what troubled her. He expected her to get over her emotional issues, stemming from childhood, all by herself. He wasn't interested in her hobbies, didn't bother to have deep conversations with her, and became a workaholic instead of dealing with pressing issues at home. However, I felt extremely sympathetic for him because ultimately, he remained faithful. In spite of all his faults, he never once violated his vows of fidelity. The sheer desperation he displayed in trying to win Olivia back, albeit way too late, was heart-breaking. I do wish he had displayed more intuition and sensitivity before Olivia had met David, instead of disregarding all signs of a dysfunctional relationship. The topic of infidelity and divorce are toughies but Hawkins wrote eloquently and each page was filled with emotion and passion. The writing was impeccable, and the drama was perfect. Makes you think twice about what you would or wouldn't do to be happy or find real love.

Absolutely Perfect
This book was perfect. This series was perfect. These characters were perfect. I am 10000000% against cheating. I hate reading about it or seeing it on TV, but I decided to read these books in hopes it could erase the Kandi Steiner What He Doesnโt Know series, and it most definitely did. I got the happy ending I wanted an deserved with this series. Iโm so glad we had this entire book show how Olivia & David learned how to live with each other through both their issues and saw them fall more in love than they already were, if thatโs even possible. Romance books have always been my escape. Theyโre my peaceful getaway, my go to โme timeโ activity. Iโve become addicted to reading so much romance books that it impacted my relationship (in my head only thankfully). I began to wonder why I didnโt have the love I read about, but with this series I realized I do. Olivia and David made me realize how beautiful my relationship is, how strong our love is. Jessica Hawins showed me how love can be different for everyone. I learned itโs okay to be closed off like Olivia, as long as youโre working to be more open and honest. I learned how to love deeply and unapologetically like David. To be crazy and proud like Gretchen. This series was truly everything I wanted and expected from it. I loved it more than the Something In The Way series, which is huge. Truly an amazing book that was written beautifully. I didnโt even notice I had started the next chapter until I was halfway done with it, talk about a page turner.

INCREDIBLE!
We dive in the everyday life of David and Olivia in this last book. I was afraid I was going to be bored, but NOT AT ALL. It might even be my favorite of all three books, I think. The writing is exquisite, it's perfect. Everything that happens is SO realistic, I could really identify with the characters. I love them SO MUCH it hurts! I will never forget this story. NEVER.

I could not put this book down. It's captivating. I highly recommend it!
OMG! My head is spinning, my heart has been ripped out and put back in a number of times. I'm emotionally drained, because it was taken on yet another roller-coster ride that is Olivia's and David's life. Nothing was easy for them and they both had to learn to give and take and let go of their controlling ways and learn that they weren't the only ones who needed to let go and open up. Nothing is predictable and the story certainly keeps you guessing. The last book gave us the impression that Olivia chose David over Bill, but she continues to question everything. Is she deserving? Will David leave her? Is David capable of giving her everything or is this just a game to him? Can she forgive herself for hurting Bill? Can she live with the fact that she is not maternal and take fatherhood away from the man in her life who clearly wants children? How many people are hurt and suffering because of her choices? This is the 3rd and final book in Jessica Hawkins Cityscape series. Olivia inevitably does choose who she wants to be with, but it's a struggle. She is undeniable in love, this is never a question, but is that even enough? She does however grow and learns that the only way she can truly be happy is to let her memories, secrets of the past and haunting thoughts come to surface and share her crippling thoughts with the one she loves. Until she wholeheartedly let's him in she will sacrifice her one and only chance for a love like no other. She also finds new information about her past that is shocking, this information helps her to grow and also helps her to understand more about why she is the way she is about her mother and why her mother treated her the way she did and still does. David is still hot. Holy hell is he HOT! But he is also struggling to back off. He is very controlling and endlessly worries about Olivia. But could this ruin everything? He can be seriously extreme and overbearing even suffocating at times I felt, but I totally understood why he was like that. You can feel that with every breath in his body that he is absolutely and undeniably in love with Olivia. He will do absolutely anything to make her his and he ends up sacrificing one of his dreams for her and I'm still heartbroken over it. I just think I'm an idealistic and when the story didn't end the way I was imagining it in my own mind, I was a little sad I have to admit. However I still rated this book an amazing 5 stars because I loved David's and Olivia's journey. Both characters chemistry was as strong as ever. David's an alpha male that oozes commanding presence and won my heart. He only ever has Olivia's wellbeing in mind and is willing to do anything it takes to make her his. And Olivia lets all her walls crumble and is accepted for who she is. She learns so much about herself and really grows. This certainly is a must read! Wow! Jessica Hawkins. I loved this so much and I can't wait for more from you. You certainly know how to captivate and pull readers into your amazing books. :)

One of the best series that i have ever read. Awesome.
If I could give this trilogy 5 million stars I would. This is one of the best book series that I have ever read. David and Olivia's love story is one that will stay with me a while, it is a beautiful story all through the 3 books. The CityScape Affair Series. Olivia and David are both trying to navigate each other and there new lives together. Olivia finally broke away from Bill who was holding her back and now is living with David. But they both now have alot of ups and downs to get through and they've had to overcome a hell of alot. They have had alot of doubters in there journey that keep trying to get in the way but they are proving love is all they need. There's just one problem, can Olivia overcome her conditioned mind and let David in before she loses him for good. Olivia has been through so much and is emotionally and physically drained and David has always been by her side no matter how many times she pushes him away. I was rooting for them both right the way through. I really enjoyed reading this book, this trilogy. I thought that the story line flowed beautifully and I couldn't put this book down. I love the characters and after following there story I felt like I totally new them both. I love how this author has made characters that the reader can feel totally connected to and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I really like this author writing style and I've enjoyed these books immensely. I would definitely recommend reading them in order so you can follow David and Olivia's journey through another life. Book #1 Come Undone Book #2 Come Alive Book #3 Come Together The love that two people share is sometimes so strong they feel it inside there soul and they can't breathe without each other and it makes you feel like you can do anything

Final part
Beautifully written story about a woman finding herself and fighting against convention. Do you honour the vow you took even though you are a mere shell of yourself or do you pursue happiness. Adultery isn't a nice thing as all involved get hurt in some way. I felt sorry for Bill, he didn't deserve what Olivia put him through and I'm not surprised by his reaction, I'm glad the author handled him tenderly. Everyone deserves to be happy and no one has the right to tell someone who to love, but Olivia was selfish in her pursuit of happiness because Bill was her safety blanket and David was her escape. I would have liked Olivia more if she had left bill first and then got with David. To me Bill despite his faults was a decent guy who only wanted a wonderful wife and family. It's a thought provoking story. Well worth a look.
