API ROOT TABS Freshwater Aquarium Plant Fertilizer 0.4-Ounce 10-Count Box

Used these for my planted tank and they have Ben great. Good color and growth. I put them in every couple of months. Good value and quality. Provide the nutrients your plants need.

I bought these for a red tiger lotus in my betta's tank. I'm using stratum as substrate which isn't providing nutrients to the plant. You can see in the first pic that the leaves were tiny and really pale...almost translucent. I put a root tab under it and after a week I had big red leaves coming through. The second pic is about two weeks later and I'm just blown away by the color and size of the leaves now. It's amazing seeing the growth with the root tab added. I've got a 10 gallon tank and only two root feeders so I'm only using two tablets. If you've got a heavily planted tank it says to use 1 tablet for every 30 sq. Inches...so it would take 6 tablets to cover all the substrate in a ten gallon. Idk how often these will need replaced but for my purposes of only a couple plants needing them, it's a great buy and really happy with the results I'm seeing. Third pic is another week later and this thing is really showing itself now. Only thing I did to make it go from small and translucent to big and red is add a single root tab under it. Very happy with results!

Worked great on my Amazon sword and without a doubt worth the price especially when compared to other root tabs, each one last several months and got the average tank this is easily a years worth of root tabs

Super potent. Don’t follow directions. One or two per 10 gallon tank. I almost tanked my water nitrates with over putting it in since I have all live plants. They do work. Plants look great. Even my semi aquatic plants grew more root buds. But I have had to do more water changes to get everything stable. They melt fast before getting into substrate. So it made my water very milky which in that respect released a crap ton of nitrates into the water. Size is about the size of a Tums.

I honestly didn’t think that this product would work, but I’ve definitely noticed a huge difference in my plants in my aquarium. I recently pulled them out to change the locations and the root growth has been crazy. I only use one a month so they will last you a while.

My plants have grown so much faster starting this with the liquid one! It’s been so fun to watch the new plant life.

Compared to other brands this started dissolving as soon as I got it into the water before I could even bury it under the sand. I probably won't buy this brand again

my plants seem to like these root tabs and they are very easy to slip into the gravel. I also like that they are easy to break in case you want to spread it out. These seem to dissolve or at least start dissolving as soon as they hit the water. I would say this is pretty good value for money.

Not sure how it will work on my plants but it did make my aquarium water cloudy and brown. I have changed half tank water the next day after using this tabs. Hopefully cloudiness and discoloration will go away and won’t effect my fishes. Won’t buy it again

Works well. Cheaper than petsathome. Plants seem healthy and bright green. Easy to unpacked. Size is as expected. I also used co2, co2 booster and fertiliser

These are fantastic for my aquarium plants. I placed a wafer under each plant in the roots and I can already tell that they’re flourishing.
