I really don't get the complaints in the reviews on this. I've had a few cheap 'portable' BBQs over the years and this is clearly a cut above. Maybe there's the odd one where someone has been unlucky with a defect but mine was perfect out of the box. It's relatively light and easy to carry or pop into a backpack. Yes, the grill isn't large, but that's not what you're buying. It fits 4 decent burgers on there. This is more than capable to handle a small group and perfect for a couple. Yes, the coal tray is relatively small, but due to the funnel shape it pushes the heat out fairly evenly across the grill in my experience. The grill mesh itself is strong and well made, not one of these flimsy ones you normally get on cheap BBQs. Once folded up there isn't much space inside largely due to the coal tray. Its a shame, if they could have figured out a way to fold that down you would have fit your coal and lighters in there. Personally, I keep some tools and small supplies inside. Cleaning is a little fiddly, with fat naturally running into the interior. With it being pretty small its not hard to get into a normal sink, just a little faffy. Thats about the most negative thing I could say! Honestly, for the money you will not find better. There's some cheaper options out there that will certainly do the job, and likewise, premium ones that will perform better. For this price you're getting a useful, sturdy product that will easily last 10+ years if you look after it.

The BBQ was purchased for use on family holidays. I am pleased with it. For it’s price a well designed, quite sturdy product. Everything folds up into the outer case. Not too heavy. Size wise about the same as a disposable BBQ. Although we have used supermarket disposable BBQ’s this product is safer to use & performs better. The BBQ stands safely off the ground. Items being cooked are elevated above the coals. The design makes it easier to undertake indirect cooking to avoid scorching food. You do have provide your own charcoal & a starter. That’s better than having to use some random ‘instant light’ disposable BBQ fuel. Negative point. The design of the latches on the case didn’t match the illustration on the packaging. Engineering wise I can appreciate the design change but it needs more work. Never the less the latches work.

BBQ is sturdy, well designed and very well built. It’s holding enough charcoal to allow cooking for 2hrs I would say. There’s enough space on the grill to cook for 4 person. The heat is high enough for longer cooking than a traditional BBQ but I prefer it this way so my food doesn’t get burned. I don’t really understand why people are unhappy with this. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the edges of the charcoal holder are very sharp. I cut my index finger while cleaning it. They should’ve bent the edges one more time to make it more rounded. Also I’ve lined up the interior with aluminium foil for easier cleaning.

Great little BBQ, delivered last Monday 29th July just in time as we were going camping in a basic pod where we needed to take absolutely everything. These photos are from my 60th Birthday BBQ on 31st July, where we were staying you could take portable bbqs but not the disposable kind so this was a last minute purchase which I'm very happy with. This came in a great box easy to pack away in the car. Easy to open, to assemble and to set it all up. The size is great as you can see by the photos we got 4 burgers, 8 sausages and squeezed on some mushrooms too so it is plenty big enough for a family of 4-6, it was still hot enough to have cooked more food but we were in a group of ppl and others had their own Bbqs. It opens easy, pull legs down GENTLY and lock in place. Lift out everything, put your BBQ bag of coal (highly recommend see my review) in the bucket in the bottom and set it alight, put large shelf on top on the little edges that stick out, quite sturdy. Once ready cook away. Easy to wash up and clean. NOW please note to close legs on it you MUST be gentle, you have to push in at the sides gently to release then fold up back on top of either side. The tool that came with was amazing and my older son loved it so I gave it to him as I had also bought the black zip up case with bbq tools in (highly recommend them too) Highly recommend

Absolutely love this bbq and multi-tool. Big hit all round... had a birthday on the beach... made hot dogs for 9 people followed by toasted marshmallows. So many people asked where I got it from and were so impressed with how easy it is set up and put away. Great value for money, great size, very portable and so much better for the environment than disposable ones. Love it!

We absolutely love this! We've used it for a barbecue for 2 adults and 2 kids at home and it did a great job. Yes it's a little small so you won't get absolutely everything on it at once, just do things in batches. That's usually how we'd do a bbq anyway though so it's no issue! Easy to assemble, easy to clean and as advertised, easy to transport! We'll be taking it on our next trip away.

Like: easy to carry, small enough to take camping, good size for 2-3 people, cooks quickly. Dislikes: the feet are glued on - which obviously they melted off because it's a BBQ and gets hot. This only affects the BBQ when it's stored in it's case though, not whilst in use as there are separate legs for that, which are, so far, okay. The fittings on the grill that open up to slot on the edges to stabilise it whilst in use have broken after the 3rd use. I haven't used again since so can't yet comment on if this will affect its use - I imagine it will though as it will now be wonky. Overall, some good and bad points. I don't think it's particularly well made and is overpriced because of these points.

Der Grill ist gut zu transportieren, leicht aufgebaut und gut für zwei Personen. Er macht einen soliden Eindruck und der Preis ist okay.

Der Grill ist genau das, was ich gesucht habe: Klein, ausreichende Grillfläche für zwei bis vier Personen, leicht und für einen Urlaub im Campingbus oder auch nur für einen gemütlichen Abend am See hervorragend geeignet. Dazu sieht er auch noch echt klasse aus! Es ist alles durchdacht; alles lässt sich im Koffer, der auch gleichzeitig der Grill ist, aufbewahren. Natürlich ist der Grill nicht vergleichbar, vom Komfort her, mit Kohlestandgrills, aber für meine Zwecke absolut geeignet. Der Grill steht auf ebenem Untergrund nach dem minutenschnellen Aufbau sicher und standfest und es wackelt nichts. Nun noch zu zwei kleinen Kritikpunkten: Schön wäre, wenn es als Zubehör eine Aufbewahrungstasche geben würde. Leider habe ich bis jetzt trotz intensiver Suche nichts Passendes gefunden. Mal sehen, wie lange der Originalkarton hält... Und leider war das versprochene Tütchen Blumensamen nicht in der Lieferung enthalten. Trotzdem: Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
